Coach Fergie: Your morning slipped. Why surrender your afternoon? Hey, hey, Varsity squad, you missed your workout. Your phone took over breakfast. It’s eleven o’clock, and the thing you promised yourself you’d finish hasn’t even been started.
Then comes that sentence: I’ll get back on track tomorrow.” Hold up. Who canceled the rest of the day? I was coaching a top producing real estate agent of mine, , full calendar, people counting on him. He planned to work out, then make his follow-up calls. Instead, an inspection issue threatened a closing. <READ MORE>

The seller needed answers. The contractor wasn’t responding. His morning disappeared. He handled the problem, but afterward, he drifted. Checked mail, moved papers, looked busy. Those calls? Tomorrow. Here’s where I challenged him. You protected your client’s closing. What commitment to yourself can you still protect today?”
Let that land, . Sometimes life interrupts you. Sometimes you hit snooze or spend forty minutes scrolling. Own your part without turning one miscommitment into a character assassination. Here are three moves. First, let’s name what [00:01:00] happened. “My morning got away from me.” Period. Keep the facts. Drop the speech about how you always mess everything up.
Second, choose one useful action that fits the time you have. For that agent, three follow-up calls before the next showing. Missed the gym? Take a ten-minute walk. Haven’t started the proposal? Write the opening paragraph. Make a commitment you can keep, then keep it. And third, practice returning.
Again, practice returning. Decide ahead of time, “When my plan gets interrupted, I’ll use my first ten available minutes to begin my next priority.” Give yourself a way back. And listen, if you’re genuinely exhausted, choose recovery deliberately. Adjust the workload. You don’t have to punish yourself for an impossible afternoon to make up for the morning.
So here’s your knowledge nugget. Your ability to return is part of your discipline. Again, squad, your ability to return is part of your discipline. Practice that return. Look at the clock. Pick one thing. Begin. You don’t need [00:02:00] another Monday. You don’t need another move. So let’s level up. And it’s funny when I talk about Mondays, Mondays, I’m always fired up.
I’m feeling it. My whole goal during the week is to have the same energy on Monday as I do on Wednesday and Thursday. So if you have the same problems as I even go through or the top producing agent that I work with and you’re not able to kinda blast through that,
I offer the complimentary Hour of Power, where we will dig into your day, see where things get sluggish, see where you’re strong, and shine a light on that blind spot, and then make a plan and blast through it.
Okay, and if you’d like that Hour of Power, please call me at 248-739-6362. Again, 248-739-6362. 248-7396-
