After 20 years in Florida, Jeremy Howard has evolved from his small-town Upstate New York roots into a deeply respected presence in South Florida real estate, building a life centered on relationships, growth, and purpose. What started with humble beginnings has turned into a career filled with opportunity, but what truly sets him apart is his mindsetโat 42, heโs not looking back, heโs locking in, stepping into this next chapter with intentional focus, elevated standards, and a relentless curiosity that keeps him pushing forward. Driven by his commitment to family and now as a proud father to his two-year-old daughter Remington, Jeremy operates with a deeper level of purposeโbuilding not just success, but a life of meaning, impact, and legacy.

And students to help them bridge their success gap, deliver life of options and not obligations on this platform. We are stoked to bring you high performers. We’re not just chasing and attaining success, but redefining it through, providing above and beyond service and squad. Real quick knowledge nugget this week, let’s get something straight, right out the gate. <READ MORE>
Success is not built on time. It’s built on intentionality. I see this a lot with my [00:01:00] clients and other people walking around saying, I’ve been doing this for 10 years, 15 years, 20 years. Like time automatically equals progress. It doesn’t. You can spend a decade drifting, or you can spend six months dialed in, executing at a high level and completely change your life.
I’ve got a coaching client actually right now, sharp guy, runs a solid business, been at it for years, but he hit a ceiling, not because he didn’t know what to do, but because he was moving without intention. Busy, but not effective working, but not building. So he tightened a little, a few things up. Every action had a purpose.
Every decision got filtered through, does this move me forward or keep me comfortable? No wasted reps. And here’s what happened. In a matter of weeks, not years, weeks, his clarity went up, his confidence went up, and his. Opportunities start showing up because he was finally ready for them. That’s the game.
It’s not about doing more, it’s about doing what matters on purpose with consistency, because pressure doesn’t create clarity. Preparation does, and preparation only happens when you’re intentional. I like to say that separation’s in the preparation, so if you feel stuck right now, don’t look at the clock, look at your [00:02:00] standards.
’cause goals are nothing but byproducts of standards and ladies and gents that are out there, get ready because this guest isn’t just in the real estate game. He’s wove, woven into the fabric of Jupiter, Florida community after 20 years in the Sunshine State. Coming from a small town upbringing in upstate New York, Jeremy Howard, or as I like to call him, Jay Ho, and a lot of his friends as well, has built more than a business.
He’s built relationships, trust, and reputation in one of South Florida’s most. Competitive markets. He’s not just closing deals, he’s helping families, plant roots, supporting local growth, and showing up as someone who truly understand what makes this community tick through his work, within that properties, Jeremy has turned opportunity into impact, not just for himself, but for the people around him.
But here’s what separates him. At 42 years old, he is not slowing down. He’s just getting started. He’s stepping into the next chapter with laser focused intention, a relentless curiosity for the unknown, and a mindset that refuses to get comfortable. And as a proud father of 2-year-old Remy, love that girl.
Mm-hmm. His drive is elevated. This is no longer just about success. It’s about [00:03:00] legacy. He’s a man committed to growth, grounded in community, and fueled by purpose. So my guy, and also I gotta like put it out there on the real estate level of my game. He is my boss. He actually dropped off a commission check here.
I’m holding right? How, how, how many, how many people come in with some money in a commission check. I love it. And you know what, Jeremy, you, you wrote when you, you got us over your onboarding that you’re just getting started. So what, what. Happened recently that clicked for you, that made you realize that or say that?
’cause you’re always on the go, man. Everyone think like, just getting started. Jeremy’s like the guy. Yeah. Well I appreciate that and, and honestly, coach Fer, it’s good to be here. You’ve been, uh, you’ve been asking me to come into the show now for about a, about a year, year and a half. So, um, you know what?
Jeremy Howard: That, that’s a, that’s a great question. Um, you know, I had a lot of, you know, you know, life is. Lived in different chapters. Right. And the chapter that I found myself in was one of great transition. You know, I turned 40 and became a father. Yes, you did. And you know, when I look [00:04:00] back at the first 20 years down here, um, my twenties and thirties, it was rather easy to, to remain optimistic and positive.
In fact, it almost came instinctively for me. Right. Um, and then all of a sudden you, you turn 40, your body changes a little bit, but at the same time you become a father. Yeah. So, with that. You know, now half of your mind is completely consumed by this beautiful little girl. Yeah. And all the responsibilities and all that self-talk that happens in the back of your head.
Right. And then, but you gotta go and perform. In fact, you, you almost put more pressure on yourself to perform because being in a commission based. Industry. Nobody pays my bills, nobody pays my salary. You know, we eat what we kill, right? That’s it. So I gotta go hunt. But at the same time, you have all this responsibility, all this.
It’s not like you’re in your twenties where you have all this energy, not to say, yeah. I mean, folks, he’s like, gee, Mr. GQ over here keeps himself put together pretty well. But you have to have that energy and to find that in your forties, it’s a little bit different protocol. Right? Nobody can prepare you for sleep deprivation.
Yeah. All of a sudden. So, so that was really the ceiling, by the way. Great intro. Um, you did a [00:05:00] phenomenal job there. But, um, yeah, it’s just all these things kind of come crashing down at once, but I, I firmly believe that’s God’s way of just saying, Hey, we’re about to shed. A lot of your prior self love it, and we’re gonna prepare you for a much better version of yourself.
But with that, you know, you, you gotta take a step back for the two steps forward. Your identity shifts big time. Yeah, it does. And then you and I have had some deep conversations sitting, sitting out there looking at the ocean about stuff and, you know, so you’re deeply ingrained in, in the Jupiter community.
Coach Fergie: I affectionately squat out there. I call him the mayor of Jupiter. He’s not technically, but. He knows everybody. And it, what does it being a part of a community that actually mean to you beyond just doing business there? Jupiter is, is, I, I, I feel so blessed to have found Jupiter and, um, you know, I moved down here at the age of 22, uh, from a small town in upstate New York.
Jeremy Howard: And, and honestly, we can talk about that. Perhaps in a bit. But, um, I moved down here with literally probably 20 bucks in my pocket and, and student loans. And I didn’t know anybody really. And, and I just had this voracious appetite [00:06:00] for life and, and people, and people with good energy, right? So finding Jupiter.
It, it’s been a dream come true. I mean, it’s, it’s, I think it’s got the perfect recipe or ingredients of a beach town, yet there’s, you know, I grew up in a town of 1800 people moving down. I thought, oh my God, I’m never gonna see the same person twice. I’m moving into this big city, right? And, and that’s not, it’s so small.
It’s not that case. The longer you’re there, the smaller it gets. Um, and, and there’s, there’s beautiful people. I mean, you just drive down a one A and you know, if, if you’re having a bad day or if you’re, you’re not feeling energized. Just go down a one A from Jupiter, Juno Beach, and you’re gonna see all these people out, jogging, running, walking dogs, kite surfers, surfers.
And it’s just like, why did I miss this sunrise here? Between like universe where fp and L is? Yeah. To where your office, our office is. That’s the most amazing, it’s little strip of, it’s hard to be real estate, right? It’s hard to be, yeah. So a lot of people work in real estate. I, I affectionately say that, you know, to be a Florida resident, you have to have your real estate license, right?
Coach Fergie: I mean, like everybody has their license here, right? But. You [00:07:00] know, and not everyone builds trust like you have. So what do you think people feel? When they work with you, that keeps them coming back to you. ’cause you got a lot of return customers. And if I could, I could name drop professional athletes, I could name drop, you know, billionaires that you work with, right?
Like, but I’m not going to, but I’m just saying what brings those people back to you. Yeah. I, I’ve honestly never looked at, um, real estate being, um, I’ve never looked at it as being in sales. I don’t feel as if I’ve sold anything. Thank, thank you. Thank you for saying that. I don’t really feel as I’ve ever sold anything, you know, I, I, I look at it as, um.
Jeremy Howard: I meet people and when we have, um, whatever the connection or bond may be and, and they wanna place their trust in me, we sit down and we put together a process to help, you know, really tackle this, whatever the goal is efficiently. But for me it’s, um, these commissions, you know, I’m not trying to just, you know, push them into something that might pay a higher commission or none of this.
You know, it’s a long term game for me. Right, right. And, and this is repeat business. Um, I don’t do a whole lot of marketing. Uh, for business, if you will. Right. Obviously when we get listings and we get, [00:08:00] we, we have needs, we’ll market to go find the product. But, um, for me it’s just treating, treating the client, right?
Really, truly finding out. What you find is, you know, with a license and with this expertise is you do have knowledge that they don’t, so helping them better understand their own goals. Sometimes they don’t know what they want. Right. You know, so I’ve always said that, you know, we sell, if anything, a lifestyle first.
Right. Somebody might have in their mind the vision of a property they want. Yeah. It’s like, well, this. Let’s zoom out. We’re gonna find the property that you’re gonna love, right? And you’re gonna make that house a home, but where do you want to be? What do you want to do? How do you wanna spend your time?
Coach Fergie: Right? So it’s, it’s really lifestyle and location first. And you, and you like, deal with a lot of people that it’s not even their first home, it’s might be their second and third house. So it’s like the, the difference is what I’m saying with that Jay. That, you know, a lot of people you’re working with are biggest investment at that point in their life.
You know, most of us out there doing real estate, but you, you, you’re blessed and you built it to where you are. ’cause I’ll tell you squad nobody networks like Jeremy. Mm-hmm. You know, when he is out pressing, flush and getting things and he’s a connector, he is connected me with everybody. Dan [00:09:00] Simmons, you know, black Flag International.
Sure. You connected me with him. Love him. So what’s up, Dan? Yeah, right. Like, give Danny a shout out. But like, what is it about. Putting people together that makes you smile. Because when you, you’re always like, you gotta come to this event. You gotta come to this event. Yeah. You, yeah. I’m always, uh, my mom always, uh, used to laugh at me.
Jeremy Howard: She still does. Oh, he’s a great guy. Oh, she’s a great woman. She’s like, Jeremy, everybody’s a great guy to you. And I’m like, no. I mean, I just feel like I, you know, I think what comes from you, comes to you, and when you put out great energy in the world. I think you’re gonna track that, right? Um, listen, there’s 8 billion people in this world.
Um, when I was wildly ignorant and, and overly optimistic in my twenties, I, I think I probably wanted to meet all 8 billion at one time. You know, and, and 42 with a child. You, there’s, you realize there’s not enough time in your, in your time is what’s most important. So you gotta be uber focused on your time, which means I wanna spend it.
With the greatest caliber of people having, having really high level conversations. And I feel that that’s time management for me. Right. But you hit the nail on the head. Being a [00:10:00] connector, the, the best way I think it is to network is when you meet somebody who shares that same energy with you. Mm-hmm.
How do you keep them in your circle? Will you connect them with somebody else in your circle? Right. Everybody has a need. It’s tight, right? Yeah. Everybody has some sort of need out there. Nobody has everything that they want. Right? So you meet somebody with great energy, Hey, what path are you on? Where have you been?
You know, where are you? Where you want to go? You know what? I have somebody to introduce you to. And when you make that connection, the coolest thing, the coolest experience I’ve ever had really was two, three years down the road, I get a call from somebody, Hey, you remember that so and so you introduced me to, no, not at all, how many covers?
I’m like, no, no, but remind me. And they say, oh, that’s, you know, he or she became my biggest client, or I married he or she’s daughter, or you know, through that connection. And it’s like, wow, like that’s amazing. So you don’t realize that really. You at the end of the day win, um, selflessly by, by, by selflessly connecting people together.
Right, right. And, and you can’t do it alone. I mean, there’s just not enough time in this short [00:11:00] life to do it alone. Surrounding yourself with other people who, who want to level up, as you say, is the only way to get there fast enough. Right? It really is. Yeah. And, and putting the people together with who’s gonna work together, that synergy that has, and that’s why.
Coach Fergie: When, you know Jeremy, when you, you put on get togethers, parties. Yeah. People just show up. They they do. And one, it’s an epic location. I’m sorry. You know, you go to your place, there’s some nostalgia there. Yeah. You’re looking right at the inlet. I mean, the water’s right there. Yeah. It’s the, it is the most amazing thing in a market like South Florida where things move fast and competition’s high, like.
What separates the people who last from the ones that burn out. It does help to have, um, built in network, right? I’ve been, I’ve been in town now 20 years. Um, but I look at this as a long game. I mean, you know, I got into the business probably in 2010, 11 is when I initially got in, and I did get in from the commercial side, although I’ve, I think my first deal was probably residential, but I, I really wanted to learn the commercial side of the business.
Jeremy Howard: So what’s really gonna separate you [00:12:00] is. You know, these last couple years, these last couple years, you know, I mean, we had a good run there for a long time. Yeah. And things softened down and when deal count slows down, uh, when the market softens, um, you really gotta go back to the basics. You gotta go back to the basics in conversations.
You gotta go back to the basics in, in really following up with your old client base, really tapping into your network, right? Yeah, yeah. And asking them, because listen, if the real estate market slows down. Other people’s industries slow down. Right, right. And, you know, but we kind of saw it, you know, with, with through COVID of course.
Sure. You know, we, we all got a little fat. Right, right. Um. When anything takes a, a quick spike like that, you’re gonna, you’re gonna hit a ceiling, right. You’re gonna flat line and you’re gonna soften. Right. Right. So, I’m super optimistic about the area, especially when you talk about Northern Palm Beach County.
Yeah. North County’s amazing. What’s going on right here in West Palm Beach is, is unbelievable. Right. Um, I just took a buyer around maybe 12 plus different waterfront, brand new towers that are going up. Right. And [00:13:00] I was, I was mind blown. Now we’re only 20, 25 minutes north. Right. Fortunately with Jupiter and, and what I.
The people who have been here for a long time will, will be a little, uh, a little frowning, you know? Yeah. On, on the development progress, which is inevitable. Sure. Especially when you live in paradise. But we’re gonna remain a beach town, you know, our building heights don’t allow us to go up. Yeah. We don’t, we can’t go vertical.
Coach Fergie: Right. So, so the fact they’re going vertical 20 miles to the south is actually going to help our property rates Right. In the Jupiter area. I love that it’s gonna preserve them, but we’re gonna throw it to Steve. Awesome. I’m blessed to have as my sponsor. So Steve, take it away. We’ll be right back. Thanks, Scott.

Coach Fergie: Hey Steve, thank you so much for the market update and like you, you and I are pretty busy now, man, so we’re pretty blessed with that and. Rates are kind of going in the direction, well, we don’t really know, but Steve’s there to take care of you and Jeremy. So you talk about having, you know, a voracious appetite for the unknown.
That’s a direct quote. From you, right? Yeah. But where does that come from and how has it helped you in business? Uh, well I’ve never been asked that before. That’s, that’s a great question. Where’s it come from? Um, I’ve just always been a, an adventurous child. I mean, I, I honestly, looking back, um, I was last generation, no cell phone.
Jeremy Howard: I grew up in this little farm town and we’re older than Google. Well, you know, you wanna know, it’s wild. But I mean, I, you know, my [00:16:00] parents were married at 20. They had three of us by 26, and the five of us grew up in a two bedroom, one bath house. So you want to talk about having, I mean, I was outside. I was outside almost 24 7 all the time.
I mean, played all the sports, built all the tree forts. I thought I was John Dutton before Yellowstone existed. You know what I mean? And that’s just how I grew up. So everything was an adventure for me. And then. I, I really, I think it started from my mom. I’m, I’m a middle child. I have an amazing older sister who’s a nurse, uh, 18 months older than me.
Oh, wow. Okay. And a and a brother, uh, 18 months younger than me, who’s ventured down to South Florida as well. Um, Justin Howard, the Black Diamond. Yeah. General contracting. Super proud of him. And, um, and my sister, she’s a nurse and, and she actually just got elected, uh, to the board back home and, and our small town on the console.
So. I used to go, you know, I used to watch my mom. My mom has got, you know, my mom’s all four foot 11. That’s where I get most of my height from. Right. And, uh, I, uh, but she was so, um, so just charismatic and loving [00:17:00] and everywhere we went, everybody would stop and say, oh, Patty Howard. Oh, Patty Howard. And at, at a young age.
It was aggravating for me. It’s like, ma, come on, move on. I wanna get, I wanna get home to my friends or whatever. She’s got a little social butterfly. She was a social butterfly. She’s, you know, and, and everywhere I used to go in town, they’d go, wait a minute, are you Jeremy? Are you Patty Harrison? You go home and give your mother a hug for me.
I mean, I’ve been a mama’s boy my whole life, but Right, right. I really saw what she did for, you know, she loved, everybody would come, just pour their heart out to it. Right. And I think I just kind of took some of that with me and I just loved meeting new people. I loved hearing their stories. Yeah. How do they get it?
You know, I have no envy as far as. I want people to make money. I want everybody to make money. Sure. If that’s what you want, but tell me how you did it. Right. Tell me your story along the way. Love it. I just, I’m a, I’m a sap, I’m an empath at heart and I’m a SAP for the story. Like Right. Tell me the success story.
Yeah. Like where did it turn, where was that pivot point? Right. Yeah. I mean, they’d say what? They tell me the truth and I’ll believe, tell me a fact and I’ll learn, but tell me a story and I’ll live in my heart forever. There you go. Right. It’s a hundred percent true. Yeah. You know, [00:18:00] you balance a lot of ambition with presence, right?
Coach Fergie: Like, I don’t know if you wanna call ambition with you, but your fire, you’re hungry, your drive, your edge, but like now, as a father to an awesome young daughter, like who’s watching everything you do, so how do you balance that to make sure that she’s seeing. What she needs to see was such, you know, like, I know you have awesome time with her, but you are kind of that social guy that everybody comes to.
Jeremy Howard: Yeah, no, it, it, it, it was not easy. Right. And I’ll tell you that, um, you know, part of our, uh, you know, initial points on this, um. When I hit that ceiling, I mean, you, you took a guy who was, who was running full steam in, in a, in a direction, um, where I had really most of my time to myself. Um, I could maximize that time be anywhere where I thought was the highest and best use of my time.
And then that first year of being a father at the, the right page of 40, it that comes to, you know, you turn that into a hundred, 180 degree turn and, and 10 x in the opposite direction, so right. I gotta tell you, you know, you know, for me and for all the other young fathers out there, um, you know, [00:19:00] looking back, you know, you could have done things a little different, right?
You could have managed your stress a little different and just understood that this was, um, but, but it goes by so fast, right? So that first year was, was really just, um, getting comfortable knowing that. Your time’s gonna be spent in other places and really, and you wouldn’t wanna be anywhere else. And you wouldn’t wanna be anywhere else.
That’s the thing. I see that especially right around 13, 14 months when you’re a dad for the first time and you start really communicating with this little child, this little human it, it immediately at, at that point in the game, put everything into perspective for me. So that’s when you just have to be ultra ultra.
Intentful and purposeful and say, and pen to paper and say, what are your priorities? What is most important? And if this is not moving the ball in the right direction, that you don’t have enough time to spend on it. Right. Um, you know, is it fun to go to happy hour here and there or, or to, to go to this, you know, I mean, the ski trips, I, I, I used to love traveling internationally or even nationally going on big group ski trips.
Well, I got friends. I got 20 of ’em out in Utah right now in this. [00:20:00] You know, badass, badass house, you know? Right, right. And I don’t have any fomo. I don’t have one ounce of fomo. Good. It’s, um, there’ll become a time and placement for that again. Right. Sure. I did a lot of that and it’s just, it’s getting real comfortable.
Coach Fergie: You lived it in reverse in a sense, like a lot of, like your mom and dad Exactly. Had a, had you at 20. Yeah. And then now it’s like you lived at 20. Yeah. And yeah. And you’re also a fantastic father. I see you with her. You know, when we were hanging out at the pad the other day, it was just like the whole attention was on Remy.
Yeah. You know what I’m saying? Yeah. But still doing business with me. Yeah. Fer, I got you. Good. You’re good. And then going to play, you know, real estate, the, the good thing about what real estate has done for me is it is not, it’s never been a nine to five. And this might be a little bit better answer to a prior question, but, um, it’s never been a nine to five for me.
Jeremy Howard: Right. This is a, it’s a lifestyle. It’s a 24 7. Obviously you have to get your rest and get your sleep. Um, you know, my daughter, I mean, I can take her to lunch in the middle of the day if I don’t have a meeting. Right, right. I can, I can meet her at the, the playground for an hour. Right. Just, just [00:21:00] dropping in, you know, I sometimes schedule if I, if I’m showing commercial space or I’m showing properties, and if I know where Remy is, if she’s at the library and, and her mother, Lauren does an incredible job, by the way.
Yeah. I mean, she’s very active with her. She’s involved in so, so many different things. Yeah. And it’s. I’ll reach out. Hey Lauren, where are you guys at? I’m like, oh, I’m, I’m gonna be heading that way around too. I wanna pop in and just get a hug. Right, right. So for me it’s, it’s just that, yeah. It’s just that, you know, real estate is, is is not a nine to five.
I’m gonna be doing this into the evening. Right. Early morning, late night. Sure. So throughout the course of the day, if I feel an hour spent with my daughter makes sense, I’m just gonna go do it. Love that. You know? I love it. So you, you did mention, I kinda said this a little bit earlier. You’re just getting started and you and I know off mic.
Coach Fergie: Yeah. What, what compiled of that, but like what do you feel like you were, that you’re chasing or going after now that you weren’t 10 years ago? Yeah, I mean. I’ve done a lot of self-research, um, in the psychology, um, [00:22:00] of a man’s life, right? Um, and, and that’s not that, you know, maybe I will never admit to understanding a woman’s life, but being, but being, being a, being a man and, um, and, and knowing that, um, you know, being a provider and a protector, um, when I look at like the seasons of a man’s life, and this is very high level, but this is super, super interesting to me.
Jeremy Howard: You know, in your twenties, you’re just figuring it out. Sure. You know, and if you can get ahead of the curve on any of these, that’s great. Sure. But in, but in your thirties, you better start really dialing in what you’re passionate about. Yep. And then aligning that with some type of career. Now listen, if you want to go save puppies and all that, that’s wonderful.
And that’s a, that’s a wonderful life. What, what are your goals? It’s not about money. My point is it’s about passion. Yes. Find your passion first. The money’s gonna follow. Right, right. But the reality is your true income. Earning years are your forties and fifties hundred percent. And into your sixties. So if you can get ahead of those, those, those chapters, yes.
That’s great. But you know, I have a young guy that, you know, comes over to my office, stands around the inlet, and looks over at Jupiter Inlet Colony and sees these $20 [00:23:00] million cribs right there. And I remember, you know, I, I can feel myself in him. He’s 28 and he’s been running this, the business world now, traversing it for six years post-college.
And you, and you start to feel like a rubber band that’s being pulled back and you’re about to snap. And he and he out loud goes, my God, I’m never gonna attain that. Yeah. And the first thing I say is, listen, time out. You haven’t had enough time. Right? Yeah. The man that’s sitting over there, God bless him.
Good for him. The man or woman. But they’re not 26, my friend. Right, right. You gotta give yourself time. So love that. You know? So when I look at my life at 42, I had a, you know, a great run in my twenties and thirties, you know, went from 20 bucks to wherever I am now. But you know, my twenties and thirties were a blessing.
I’ve learned a lot. Now I look at this next chapter as, okay, this is a whole chapter two or chapter two, whatever you wanna call your life. I’m starting, not over, but I’m starting from a, from a point of more, more perspective, more purpose. You know, I have [00:24:00] all the tools that I’ve learned in my twenties and thirties.
It’s time to now put them to practice. I love that you have that just, you mentioned that gestation period. ’cause a lot of people that are young are like, I’m like, listen, how many acorns fall on the ground and you get one oak tree. It has to be, the gestation has gotta be fertilized. It’s gotta be added to, and I love that you, you know, you said that the forties, fifties, and sixties.
Coach Fergie: I’m a big believer that. You know, your early part of your life, you, you learn the mid part you earn, and the later part you return, you return. Right. I like that. So like, that’s just, you give it back something. I’ll give that to Denzel Washington. He said that, you know, I kind of picked it up from him one day and, and squat, I gotta tell you that like Jeremy’s way more interested in your story than telling you his.
So for him to come in, it took me a year, over a year to get him to come in here and talk. Well talk about himself. I was still going through my reset though. I didn’t know if I had anything of interest to talk about at that time. Right. So like we, we don’t have too much time left, but you are into the yacht business too.
We have. You know, nine or 10 listings that we’re working with and yeah. You know what, you know, when I, um, so [00:25:00] that all it, it kind of started self manifesting back when I first discovered South Florida. So I grew up in the corn fields of upstate New York. Right. I never knew an Intracoastal system existed.
Right. And when I moved down here, I think it was the first weekend, someone says, you need to go down to Sailfish Marina on Singer Island and just look out over Peanut Island. Well, that happened to be a Sunday and I did. And there might’ve been 3000 boats anchored out. Right. Um, I think I paid a guy on a jet ski five bucks to take me over to the island, you know, because he was just driving by.
Jeremy Howard: Right. That changed my life. So I, I quickly fell in love with the boating community, the boating world, the boating lifestyle. Sure. I’m a boater myself. Um, I wouldn’t say I’m the greatest out there, but you know, I learned from the guys who have been doing it for a long time and love going over to The Bahamas.
That’s the beauty of living here. Yes. On the Eastern point of Florida, we’re only 65 miles from, from West End. Yeah. You know, so, but I, I never wanted to water down. It’s really important to, to know. And, and I will say I’m, I’m proud of the way I executed this was I had inlet properties. Um, we have about a dozen [00:26:00] agents.
I wanted to add the yacht bro component to it, but I didn’t want to be known as a jack, Jack of all trades, right? So I waited, I partnered with two great guys, Mike Simko and Rick, a Keel. Um. We brought on a couple yacht brokers who are captains and good friends of mine. And I will say, you know, it’s, we’ve been at it now for just under three years, two and a half years, probably the slowest boat market we’ve seen when right after the rush of COVID.
But, um, but yeah, it’s, it’s, um, it’s cyclical. It’ll come back around. Absolutely. And so how can we people find you, Jeremy? Well, I’m, I’m easily found somewhere along, uh, the, the, the jupi, the Jupiter Inlet. I, I’ve been lucky Sharks. Well, uh, you know, home base is, uh, a 1955 year built, uh, bungalow right on the Jupiter Inlet.
Um, looks right down the inlet neighbors the square grouper. Um, yeah, super excited to see what Charlie Mo is gonna do with the 10 acres of SUNY Sands. Yes. And we’re very fortunate that he is, oh my gosh, the owner and developer. Our office is gonna be insane. Yeah, it’s it’s gonna be wild. It’s gonna be awesome.
Um. Yeah. You [00:27:00] know what? I’m, I’m, I’m easily found. Let’s put it that way. I don’t hide. Love it. I don’t hide Well, yeah. And the, the, uh, inlet props.com is our, uh, website in 5 6 1 6 8 5 7 3 7 1. Roger that again, 5 6 1 6 8 5 6 8 5 7 3 7 1. In. Jeremy real, real quick. Leave us with a knowledge nugget we can take with us, internalize, and take action on.
Um, I will say that this is a little quote that I read recently, and, and sometimes you can hear these things a million times, but it was the timing of it, right? It’s even if you have a golf coach, right? It’s, my dad’s been telling me how to swing this club, you know, not to do this, but someone tells me something different.
But having, going through this chapter of becoming a father, um, all of a sudden all my optimistic positive. Thoughts coming through my head. Turning to what if this, what if I don’t succeed? What if this, sure. What if I, I, you know, what if I don’t win? Right? What if something happens to my daughter? Well, I read this quote the other day.
It was so simple and it said, don’t forget to overthink the best possible outcome too. Love that. And I just, it hit me so hard. It’s, [00:28:00] it’s like, why not overthink the best right possible outcome? I love that. That’s the best way we can end this show. Don’t overthink the best possible outcome. Jeremy, thank you so much for coming on.Coach Fergie: Thank you to W, J, and O. Everybody. Go out there. Have a great weekend. Absolutely love your guys.
