I have a female real estate agent. I coach, absolute grinder, shows up, does the work, but she hit a stretch where [00:01:00] listings weren’t converting, deals were falling through and you could feel her confidence starting to dip. Arena. I was under different circumstances last time, but it’s blessed to have you back in studio. But I have to ask you. Because you, you merge these two together, right? So what’s something you do in your day to day life? That would make your high performance clients go, wait, you do that. 

Iryna Ryzhuk: Thank you, Scott.

Absolutely. I do that and thank you so much for having me. Yeah. For the second time. Last time we talked a lot about business. Yes. Today we’re going to merge business and Yes. Internal work, how to be a, let’s say, productive and everything that you do, and how to be able to come back to yourself and ask from the state of peace and connection with yourself.

Yes. So what do I do? My journey, you know that I’m Ukrainian and I moved countries. I came to US six years ago, came just for. Vacation. So as you remember, I’m still vacationing enjoying my la loca and obviously it’s been challenging. A lot of things happened. We [00:04:00] still have war in my country. We still have my family there, and it’s challenging, I bet it’s like a day-to-day base where I need to work with present, and think about the future, right?

But it’s still something that pulling me back and make me. Think about the balance. So what do I do and what I started to do, I feel like my beginning of this journey was when I went to Hawaii to the solo trip for seven days and I was looking to that connection, like what? What to do to find that peace, to reconnect with myself to get back to that arena that I remember, 

That knows how to dream, how to feel. 

Coach Fergie: How did you lose her though? What happened for you to that 

Iryna Ryzhuk: I think we’re all trying to adapt and adjust to the culture, to the society and perform, and sometimes we forget who we are, right? Sure. We have all these definitions of success and we are aiming to be there, but it’s important to stay authentic.

Sure. And that’s where success is, and that’s where real success is. And I can tell you based on my experience, so I started losing it [00:05:00] and I started realizing that I need to find some modalities that could help me on a daily basis, being part of my routine and breath work became number one. Yes. So I still do my breath work every morning and every night.

I don’t need any sleeping pills, any drugs to get back to myself. I do have very somatic approach. This is something that you can control. It’s a self-regulation. It’s 

Coach Fergie: free. 

Iryna Ryzhuk: Free. And it’s healthy. And it’s healthy. So this is something. 

Coach Fergie: So what breath do you use? ’cause I like Wim Hof, and I’ll do some of his work and I blend it with some box breathing I learned in the military to like. Reregulate and whatnot. But what is your kind of go-to? 

Iryna Ryzhuk: I started with audios from Dr. Joe Dispenza. Oh yeah. Yeah. It was a lot. A good beginning, and I realized that I love it.

And the journey to Hawaiian. I met my teacher, DY, so we are in touch with her on the weekly basis. So she sends me some audio, it’s always something new and on a daily basis I keep doing it, so she’s my teacher. [00:06:00] 

Coach Fergie: Jack to Jody. He’s a good, I wouldn’t say he’s a good friend. He’s a friend like we’ve spoke on stage.

Iryna Ryzhuk: Okay. That’s amazing. 

Coach Fergie: So yeah, he’s a great guy. He was in that movie, the Secret even. Oh 

Joel Malkin: yeah. 

Coach Fergie: But you’ve built your name in kind of performance marketing results, datadriven scaling. What moment made you realize that wasn’t quite enough, that pushed you into the deeper work that you’re doing now?

Was that moment We covered it a little bit, but was that clicking moment where you’re like, dude there’s gotta be more. 

Iryna Ryzhuk: Yes. And I would tell you that I am the type of personality that it feels like never enough, but from the standpoint I can do more, I always felt I can do more.

I started working at the age of 16. I’m now, I’m 37, and I went through different stages, in different growing stages. And I realized that I can do more. I just can do more right? And I can actually help people. I found that formula where I feel balanced. From that arena, business arena.

Remember I showed you my business card? It has, yes. Black and white. Love it. 

Coach Fergie: It, yeah. 

Iryna Ryzhuk: So it has spirituality arena, and wellness arena and that business arena. [00:07:00] And those both sides are connected in my approach. 

Coach Fergie: Love it. At Arena, like a lot of high performers that you’re out there like yourself, right?

They’re chasing growth externally. More revenue, more clients. Kinda like my nugget that I was putting out there a little bit earlier, but internally they’re burned out and I’ve went through that at bat so bad. That I had an anxiety attack, which I thought I was having a heart attack. 

This is 2004 or five and I was in my early thirties, so I had that. So where do you see that disconnect showing up with most of the people that you work with, where, they’re chasing what their version of success is. 

But like where do you find, where are you finding that the big disconnect is with the people that you’re servicing?

Iryna Ryzhuk: So I usually say that we go to the gym to train our muscles, right? Sure. To take care of the way we look, right? We like, I got my marketing MBA to in order to be that expert, in this field, right? And spread those boundaries and being able to position myself and also learn more and also [00:08:00] know more.

So I, we are training ourself mentally, but it’s always the point where we are able to disconnect to find that, inner peace, right? And find that state of mind when we are remind reminding just ourself who we are and what else we can do. And are we doing the right things? Like we all, I’m a psychoanalyst and I studied Freud and he always been bringing up this question that we are.

At different stages over life no matter how old are you are asking yourself, who am I? Who am I? Am I here? Absolutely Right here, I’m doing right things. I’m 38 or I’m 45, or I’m 55. And usually you can see when people come to the therapist, they are. Having all those beautiful things like houses, cars, yeah. The material 

Coach Fergie: stuff, right? 

Iryna Ryzhuk: Yeah. Material stuff. But they feel unhappy. Sure. They’re like, I don’t know. I don’t know if I’m doing right. Things. So that’s the point when people start realizing, okay, there is something wrong. Wrong. There’s 

Coach Fergie: something right. And that’s when I started digging in.

I go a lot through my faith with christ and whatnot. There [00:09:00] was also other people I do yoga. 

Steve Austin: Yeah. 

Coach Fergie: I had my yogi in here a couple weeks ago. That really just, it really just slows me down. If I can slow down, be present, being intentional then I can start scaling the right way, not only with the business, but with my personal life.

And you say balance a lot. I like harmony. I love the word harmony because it’s I love jazz, right? And like I look at the drums as like your faith. You’re the piano as your. Money the horns as your personal relationships and on to the eight pillars. If one of them’s outta tune, it’s sounds like crap.

Introduction: Agree. 

Coach Fergie: Absolutely. So if you can get one thing that, that thing like you, what you’re saying is like you have all these different instruments that are going out there. You can help them not only scale, but also get in harmonic life, which my book, harmonic also squad is coming out pretty soon. Give a plug on that, but no, it’s that’s what I’m seeing is a lot of the harmony that you try to bring into your client’s lives, right?

Iryna Ryzhuk: Yeah. I feel we can talk about this, let’s say definition of happiness, and it’s different [00:10:00] for you and me, right? Yes. That’s why I use balance, meaning you are, you have. All of that, but in the right amount. Sure. Harm and that brings harmony. 

Coach Fergie: Yeah. ‘

Iryna Ryzhuk: cause harmony, it’s something yours balance more or less.

It’s. Mix of different things.

Coach Fergie: Balance within harmony. 

Iryna Ryzhuk: It within harmony. I would say that, yeah. ’cause you could watch Netflix all day long and feel so harmonized, and get nothing done. 

Yeah. Yes, 

Coach Fergie: you’re right. That’s true. I, again I have my times where I’ll binge out on something.

Absolutely. When, you do talk about scalable systems. 

Iryna Ryzhuk: Yeah. 

Coach Fergie: In business. So what’s the equivalent of a scalable system when it comes to someone’s mind and nervous system like. You start with something, but like you’re scaling them. Like 

Iryna Ryzhuk: I would say it’s important to start with consistency first.

It’s a great approach that you have to do something for two weeks in a row on a daily basis. Then you build that habit and then you actually start feeling that. You change it. See results stacking 

Coach Fergie: those habits. 

Iryna Ryzhuk: Exactly. It’s the same with the breath work. If you do it once in a while, you’re like, ah, I don’t have time for this.

It doesn’t work for me. It’s not my [00:11:00] thing. 

And I would be that person who could think this way before me too. But once I started and I’ve been committed, I was like, okay, let me get there and let me see if it’s actually working and 

Coach Fergie: right. 

Iryna Ryzhuk: I’ve been doing this as of now, already a couple of years.

And consistency. You’re consistent. I’m always seeing 

Coach Fergie: like even on your social, you’re 

Iryna Ryzhuk: consistent with your work. Yeah. And it’s very get, it’s very hard to get me out of this piece, like it’s almost impossible. Yes. I’m a human being. Yes. I’m. Sometimes I’m stressed. I got my telegram hacked couple of days ago and I was like, oh my God.

Introduction: I was like, what’s this? 

Iryna Ryzhuk: Yeah. And it is like first time in a while I felt like I’m nervous, I started shaking a little bit, but again, I know the tool. I go, I breathe, I come back to myself. I feel okay. But nothing crazy happened. Sure, I can deal with this now. I need to think step by step what is the right approach to get things done in order to fix it.

So starts with consistency for sure. Sure. And I always say that each journey is different. I never give this formula ’cause this is my formula. I know the tool, I know that this tool [00:12:00] works. Sure. Just, how to use this tool in order to make it work for you. In the, in my sessions, they always say, I don’t give you any expectations.

’cause some people experience some body sensations, some people see some visions, sure. And some people feel nothing. And I usually say that magic starts when you leave the room. When you go into the life, but you go with a different skillset. And things in a different way, and now it’s on you how you’re going to use this skillset.

How do you, how are you going to approach your day-to-day things that you used to do? How do you going to, how are you going to approach your dreams? 

Coach Fergie: Sure. 

Iryna Ryzhuk: Are you stick to this idea to be there? Are you consistent on a daily basis? But the truth there, 

Coach Fergie: there’s a consistency in like with someone like you, you’ll give ’em the tools and squat.

Coach Fergie: Hey Steve, thank you so much for the market update and that market. Mortgage nugget always on point, brother. And we’re back with my good friend Arina Raju. That’s right. I’m getting there.

I’m getting there on, on it. So the life force activation, the LFA, some people hear that and [00:15:00] think it’s out there bu and you always tough. Yeah. But break it down for us a little bit, like what’s actually happening during a session. ’cause they’re very.

I don’t wanna say like the ones that I’ve watched it, you put out there for people. I love that you do that, by the way. You put out sessions, get permission from the people and see it, and it’s like there’s, you’re all over the place. And energy. I do believe in energy. 

Like how can you hit a key piano in a crystal chandelier move?

There is energy in between things. How are people listening to this right now? What’s actually happening during this session? Why are people getting the real results from 

Iryna Ryzhuk: it? Thank you. That’s a good question. I always say that you don’t need to believe in energy to feel it, right?

Sure. You just entered the room this morning and I felt it. You were like, who? And you have it, like you are super energetic person and we can call it intuition. Sure it’s more, maybe more comfortable to use this term. ’cause sometimes people take it as kind of stuff, but depends who I’m talking to.

I take one or another one approach. I can take scientific approach. [00:16:00] Somatic approach, and we can talk about nervous system regulation. And I love it. ’cause again, going back to breath work, going back to meditation and it’s there, market. Speaks about this. Sure. It’s people familiar with that.

Usually I take this approach to explain how things work. We can talk about energy and we can talk about spiritual stuff if people are more open right to this. So just on a basic level, I would say, 60 minutes of the session. Usually I take 90. ’cause people like to talk. People like to express themselves, right?

People like to share and I like to set intentions to understand who I have in the group or if it’s a private session, to understand what person is holding, you know what they’re going through. So I know who I work with and people are opening up. Sure. And this is already part of the experience when you’re able to speak up.

When you are able to let it out. Therapy starts there. 

Coach Fergie: Sure. 

Iryna Ryzhuk: Then people lay down, they go, 

Coach Fergie: it’s like a release though of it. Of it. Yeah. Is it like the negative energy is being released and [00:17:00] you’re bringing the good, just trying to like dumb it down for me. 

would 

Iryna Ryzhuk: say that we all go through the stress and some sort of traumatic experience through our life, and usually that stress is stored in our body.

You go to massage therapist and they work with you. Fascia release. And you feel better, 

Coach Fergie: right? 

Iryna Ryzhuk: It’s similar work. And I also work with Meridian Points, and I apply touches like soft touches, respectful touches, right? Where people start feeling themselves, and this is the process of surrendering.

So they lie down, they close their eyes, and this is the only thing that I’m asking. Don’t open your eyes during the session. Try to go deep into the practice. Try to go deep into surrendering, 

Steve Austin: right? 

Iryna Ryzhuk: We have yoga. We work with the same energy. We call it life force or Kundalini. Yes. 

Steve Austin: Really? Yeah. 

Iryna Ryzhuk: And we approach yoga, we approach this energy through the movement.

We have breath work, we approach through the breath. 

Life force activation is the only one non doing. Practice not doing modality. It’s the process of surrendering, which sometimes for people is the hardest, sure. We used to [00:18:00] do something, we used to put effort, we used to work hard, we used to suffer in order to get something.

And I, when I talk to my 19 years old self sister, I’m sharing my experience and my background. I always tell her, listen, we’ve been taught to the story of the hero. In order to be successful, you need to struggle, suffer, and then you will be no. There are smarter ways, sure. You can do it differently.

And in this practice, it starts from. Feeling yourself, understanding who you are, actually feeling your body and it’s interesting to watch when I apply those touches. People don’t use to be touched that way. Yeah. They’re like, Ooh, I forgot that I have those areas in my body. It’s like your shoulders, arms, maybe some area of your stomach or belly and and energy starts moving.

It could sound crazy, but. And sometimes does people say during, after the session, it’s oh, my godina some sort of WY stuff, wicky 

Stuff. I’m like yeah I’m flying about the ceiling. When you are keeping your eyes closed. I’m kidding, but 

Coach Fergie: No. Yeah, [00:19:00] exactly. 

Iryna Ryzhuk: We all have it, and I always say, it’s not me, it’s you.

That magic is within you. Like sure. That when you are connected with yourself and with your intuition, that’s where the magic is. That’s 

Coach Fergie: where it happens with that. So that kind of blends into the control that people have. Absolutely. Especially, 

Iryna Ryzhuk: absolutely, 

Coach Fergie: especially Palm Beach. A lot of success.

A lot of people like, have really gotten after in life and have that the monetary success, right? Yeah. Then they like a lot of control and a lot of those people, they pride themselves on being in control. Your work leans into surrender, which you just mentioned kinda give us a walkthrough of what happens in a session for you to have them kinda release some of that or let go of the control. 

Iryna Ryzhuk: Sure. 

Coach Fergie: And in the tension release as well. 

Iryna Ryzhuk: First of all, I play on the play, I work on the playlist. ’cause music helps to disconnect. Sure. I always say do not compare yourself with anybody else in the room.

Your experience is different and unique and you go through your own journey. That’s why I use music. We can do the session without the music at all, but it helps. It helps to disconnect. [00:20:00] Distract. Sometimes people like to come to the session, listen to the music, and even dance. They get up with their eyes closed and they start moving.

You forgot when you were last time at the nightclub dancing. And let it go. But this is, dancing is a symmetric modality, right? It’s you feel yourself, you feel your body, you have fun, and you are releasing, right? So when people get into that state, sometimes it’s meditative state during the session.

Sometimes it’s just. You feel good, right? You feel relaxed. You listen to the nice music. I apply those touches and you can start feeling that energy is moving through your body. It feels like tickling. It could feel warm or cold feeling, and some people actually start feeling some movement so they start moving.

Introduction: Sure. 

Iryna Ryzhuk: And I always say, help yourself if you feel like you want to move. Sometimes I put them intentionally in an uncomfortable position to see are you feeling your body right? You definitely feeling uncomfortable. Put yourself back. Put yourself in a comfortable [00:21:00] position. And some people, as you said, those controlling people and people who used to do everything right, they just stay in that uncomfortable position, right?

For 60 minutes and you can see it and you’re like, why? Sure. So it’s just, open up some doors for them to think about, to feel, and some people start crying and, through the crying and through the screaming. Sometimes it’s uncomfortable. You get a little bit, 

Coach Fergie: I wouldn’t say scary, but whoa,

Iryna Ryzhuk: What they’re going through, but it’s also the process of releasing, 

Coach Fergie: right? 

Iryna Ryzhuk: They feel so much better out there, and that’s what they say. So 

Coach Fergie: how, like you, you talked a little bit about consistency earlier. 

Like how consistent with your practice first of all, can people do it on their own? 

Iryna Ryzhuk: I always say continue doing what you just learned on your own right.

‘Cause you can lie down at your home. Sure. Use the mat. Turn on the music, close your eyes and start feeling it. Sure. You definitely can do it. 

Coach Fergie: It’s energy. Sure 

Iryna Ryzhuk: it will. Feel differently, versus when you have a trauma informed facilitator who is working with you. ’cause I’m able to read the [00:22:00] room, I’m able to read where the person is standing today and now, and guide them through this process.

Some people could get very deep into their suffering, and they go through some difficult period of time and they can’t stop crying for four, five tracks, and I’m there for them and I’m helping them to get to come back. Like to come back and switch and again, this is the process of nervous system regulation.

You can do something by yourself, but you can go deeper with the facilitator. 

Coach Fergie: Yeah, with the facilitator. I’m same way like Todd McLaughlin, he’s the owner of native yoga. 

And I know I can go do han practice right. By myself, but when I’m in there, it’s a different feeling. 

Iryna Ryzhuk: Absolutely. 

Coach Fergie: And so how about the equine, the horses, this the equine assisted activation experiences, like what is it about working with horses that accelerate someone’s awareness? 

Iryna Ryzhuk: And I am sure that I don’t need to explain this. When you spend time with horses, you definitely feel something. Yeah. You feel it’s so different.

It’s such an amazing creature. Yes. You look in their eyes and you’re like, oh my God, they have a soul, man. It’s 

Coach Fergie: crazy. Yes. 

Iryna Ryzhuk: [00:23:00] And again, speaking the language of energy, you can feel that energy. So just their presence. Already sets you in a different mode. You are more open. You are. And it’s also a practice of being vulnerable, to allow yourself to be vulnerable. And that’s, this is where the truth start coming out. This is where you are, who you are, and you are painting and you honest with yourself and with life and with people around, and you go through the journey with the open heart. So I can tell that this is heart opening practice, especially a horse’s presence is just.

Sets the mood, sure. It gives you that another layer 

Coach Fergie: Of 

Iryna Ryzhuk: deep inner work. 

Coach Fergie: Yeah. And they’re so close. I love horses, with our friend Nick, with the race horses and stuff like them around it a lot. And it’s something that I enjoy the magnificence, 

Steve Austin: oh my 

Coach Fergie: horses.

And they also, it actually calms me. I’m not a big. Get on a horse and ride guy, but I’m not like fear him or anything like that. Yeah, they can definitely calm you for sure. So what does it look like if someone, but to really commit to it, and start integrating both the high performance strategy and inner work you’re teaching.

What would it look like for somebody? 

Iryna Ryzhuk: I will ask you, we had this interview seven months ago. Do you see any difference talking to me? Do you see that? I talk from a different, 

Coach Fergie: you’re shiny man. Like when you were working over there, I’m just like, you look like you a CEO. Okay. Like I was talking to a ceo, EO of the company that you were with.

And, so it’s yeah, definitely. I can see it. The shine comes about. 

Iryna Ryzhuk: Yeah. I can tell you that I am a happy person. I feel like I’m a lucky person. ’cause I do have that connection with myself every day. And I remind myself when I make any decisions. Like Karina, are you making these decisions from the state?

Peace and grounding. Yes. And grounded. And you understand. You remember who you are and you follow your dreams and you follow who you want to be. 

Coach Fergie: Sure. 

Iryna Ryzhuk: Or this is something that you, again, trying to pretend, you know. 

Coach Fergie: The world. It’s there. There’s a song, my Believe by Natasha [00:25:00] Benfield, like unwritten, it’s like my favorite song ever.

The lyrics about you can write your life. Absolutely. And it’s better to write it from a point of. A great harmonic state.

Iryna Ryzhuk: So I feel like, yeah I’m in that state and I do what I love and remember that this is the magic formal, like when you do what you love, it doesn’t feel like, 

Coach Fergie: yeah. Do what you love. Yeah. Yeah. 

Iryna Ryzhuk: Absolutely. And this is amazing. Yeah. I can tell. And I can tell not five, 10 years, six months. Yeah, six, six months. 

Coach Fergie: Love that.
