[00:01:00] Coaching knowledge like this week, let’s talk about something that nobody really signs up for, but every champion has to go through. <READ MORE>

It’s called an ego death. You cannot grow to the next level of your life without protecting the identity that got you stuck. And me squad, I have the story about my ego and back in the day, and now I had to crush it to get to what I feel my level of success is. But most people don’t stall because they lack talent.

They stall because they’re attached to who they used to be. I coach a real estate agent out in. Scottsdale. That’s you, Jared. I gotta give you a shout out and thank you for the cell bar crews that you’re sending me and Susan on. That’s just amazing. The yacht was awesome, but I coach a real estate agent.

Jared out there, good name in the market, but he plateaued. Every call sounded the same. Inventory’s tight buyers are hesitant. And I was like, no, dude. His ego is protecting his comfort zone. He didn’t wanna admit. That he worked five years. What he did five years ago wasn’t enough anymore. His follow up wasn’t sharp, his urgency slip, his standards got comfortable and comfortable is dangerous.

So I asked him straight up, Jay, are you trying to protect your identity or [00:02:00] build a new one? ’cause growth requires you to let the old version of you die, the one who needs to be right. The one who hides behind past wins, the one who blames conditions. Pressure doesn’t break you. It reveals you. He buried it tightened standards, and again, standards goals are nothing but byproducts of your standards.

So we tighten the standard squad, increase daily accountability, move faster, and production followed. Up to like almost 150 mil this year, baby. So I’m super proud of you, Jared. You don’t buy, you don’t rise by adding more, you rise by subtracting who you refuse to stay. So Varsity Squad, let’s level up and talk about leveling up.

Dude, I have a awesome. Sauce gas man. He is. He’s too busy to even visit me when he comes to Palm Beach. You’re bringing a man who doesn’t just talk about resilience. He’s lived it. Joining us is Ine Aggarwal, a powerhouse real estate leader, top producing team leader, mentor, visionary, and a rockstar coach who’s company just had a really big move that just happened.

He knows he’s someone who knows exactly what it means to lose [00:03:00] everything twice. And build it back stronger. In 2012, Suneet hit rock bottom. Most people would’ve folded, most people would’ve blamed the market. Most people would’ve shrunk. He rebuilt. Not just the business, not just income, not just production.

He rebuilt identity, visions and standards. Today, he leads one of California’s top real estate teams, impacts agents across the country, and teaches a model rooted in heart service, accountability, and long term legacy. This isn’t about quick commission squad. This is about building a machine that creates freedom, fulfillment, and generational impact.

Suneet doesn’t preach hustle for hustle’s sake. He touches structure. He teaches leadership. He teaches Building with purpose. He teaches scaling without losing your soul. If you’re an entrepreneur, team leader, real estate professional, or someone who refuses to stay where you are, this episode is gonna rock you, punch you in the mouth in the best possible way.

So get ready to level up your standards. Get ready to think how you rebuild, get ready to hear what it really takes to fall, rise and dominate again. And right now I’m bringing on Snic. Cindy, thank you so much for coming out. Please introduce yourself the Time to Shine Today, [00:04:00] podcast Varsity Squad. But first, what’s your favorite color and why?

Suneet Agarwal: Green.

Coach Fergie: Is that money color or is that money baby?

Suneet Agarwal: Money. Money. Green. Yes.

Coach Fergie: And the rebirth. You had to do it twice, bro. You know what I’m saying? Yes. Green is that re at least springtime. So I gotta ask you, man if we were to grab a coffee and we weren’t allowed to talk for real estate or business for 30 minutes of it, what will we talk about?

Suneet Agarwal: Oh, kids.

Coach Fergie: Very cool man. How old are you? If you don’t mind saying.

Suneet Agarwal: Nine. I have a 9-year-old daughter and a 6-year-old daughter.

Coach Fergie: Oh, wow. Mine’s 31

Suneet Agarwal: yeah. I started really late. Yeah. I started super late.

Coach Fergie: Man, I gotta hear this story. You and I kinda started a little bit, I didn’t wanna talk too much off the mic to know too much, but

Suneet Agarwal: Totally.

Coach Fergie: Tell me about this story of the rise, the fall of the rise, the fall and the rise. Talk to

Suneet Agarwal: me about it. Yeah. Bro, it’s, I’m so fortunate for everything that’s happened and given me new opportunities and real [00:05:00] simple, like I got outta college. It took me eight years to get a bachelor’s.

I was at a party school. I didn’t wanna leave. And I got right into mortgage like many people did in the mid two thousands. Ah Sacramento had a big national subprime lending office with about 12 to 1500 loan officers.

Coach Fergie: Right.

Suneet Agarwal: And so we, mortgage was great. Real estate was great During those mid two thousands in the subprime, you mean you could give anybody a damn loan, right?

It was a downfall, which was, which you,

Coach Fergie: you promise you make two 50 and you have credit.

Suneet Agarwal: Yeah, exactly. Yeah. Write me a letter saying that you make this much money a year and you get a loan. Did that, was irresponsible. With money at that young age. And when the markets tanked in 2008 with a subprime crash.

Coach Fergie: Yeah.

Suneet Agarwal: Me and all my buddies crashed along with it.

Coach Fergie: What was it called? The option arm. You get paid a point option. The option

Suneet Agarwal: farm

Coach Fergie: 3.14 on the back.

Suneet Agarwal: No, five on the back. Five on

Coach Fergie: [00:06:00] the back.

Suneet Agarwal: Yes. Five on the back.

Coach Fergie: Love

Suneet Agarwal: it. I had about 40 of those in contract when the bank went out of business.

They just quit answering their phone. I was all this is gonna be an issue. Yeah. And it was ’cause I wasn’t prepared. When you’re young and making that kind of money, like you don’t know what’s gonna happen. Lots of bottle service, lots of trips to Vegas, lots of doing whatever kind of bs,

Coach Fergie: right?

Suneet Agarwal: When that happened, I, medical cannabis in California was still at its infancy,

Coach Fergie: right?

Suneet Agarwal: I had business acumen and I went into the medical cannabis industry and very quickly rose both as an advocate for patient’s rights and in local government in as far as writing ordinances, writing tax law.

So I really had support from the local government.

Coach Fergie: You’re

Suneet Agarwal: the og city Hall. City Council. Yeah. Dude, George Bush, George W. Bush was president when I got started.

Right, and we quickly, very quickly Rose had a great legitimate business with, at that point in medical [00:07:00] cannabis, there was a lot of gray area,

Coach Fergie: right,

Suneet Agarwal: there was no states with legalized medical cannabis and recreational wasn’t even on the map yet. Now many states have recreational. Back then it was all for the medical only, and then in 2012 when Obama went for a reelection. They wanted to take the stance of appearing tough on crime.

Right.

So just so you know, the federal, yeah. Just so you know, I’m also tough on crime. So they instructed the federal attorneys in the different districts here in California to start forfeiture proceedings against the landlords of cannabis businesses.

And I said, not today.

I have my patience to look after.

Coach Fergie: Yeah.

Suneet Agarwal: And I had about 40 people working for me. All W2 income, all insurance, 4 0 1 Ks. It was a real thing. So we fought back against the, [00:08:00] forfeiture and the federal government didn’t like that very much, so they sent the US Marshals Department of Justice

Coach Fergie: Ouch.

Suneet Agarwal: Raided my house. Yeah. US Marshals, lasers they banged my door down, put laser sight on me, and I’m standing there in my boxers. I’m like, Hey guys,

Coach Fergie: hell,

Suneet Agarwal: you could have just sent me a letter.

Right. Like you could have just sent me a letter. There I was again, five years after building everything back from real estate.

Now, the federal government seized all the assets, right? Seized all the bank accounts, seized cars, computers, everything. So even though I was prepared with savings for whatever would happen after my previous mistake, I didn’t have a chance. ’cause the, because the feds grabbed

Coach Fergie: it.

Suneet Agarwal: Yeah, they seized it in serving a warrant.

Coach Fergie: Wow.

Suneet Agarwal: And they can still do that today ’cause it’s still federally outlawed, right? Yeah. Of course it doesn’t happen as much, but they were looking for headlines, right? They had done some other raids and found. Guns and cash under the bed and [00:09:00] all this stuff. I didn’t have any of that.

Coach Fergie: Right.

Suneet Agarwal: My bank, my money was in the bank.

Coach Fergie: Right.

Suneet Agarwal: My, I didn’t have a bunch of guns. Like I was just a businessman supported by the mayor, supported by city council. The mayor was Kevin Johnson at the time from the Phoenix Suns. I don’t know if you follow much of basketball or not. But yeah, he was the mayor and we had support locally, but not federally during that reelection.

Man, and that left me cracked, right? Like I went into a depression. It’s funny, I had a bunch of American Bulldogs at the time as protection. Big mean dog, big tough looking buff dogs. You would like them. The canine Gladiators,

Coach Fergie: right?

Suneet Agarwal: My males were 140. My females were a hundred pounds.

Geez. They were just, they were beasts. So after I got raided, all I had was dogs.

Coach Fergie: Okay.

Suneet Agarwal: So I said, you know what, I’m gonna be a dog breeder. This is the next chapter of my life. I wanna be a dog breeder.

Coach Fergie: Yes.

Suneet Agarwal: Oh my God. Talk about some poor decisions made out of trauma. [00:10:00] Talk about poor decisions.

Just and very quickly I realized this was not gonna be a path that would be supportive of my life.

Right. I was single at the time. I didn’t have any kids yet. We talked a little bit about that offline, and I sat around for about two years. Half-ass wanted to be a dog breeder, knowing it was a stupid idea.

Coach Fergie: Right.

Suneet Agarwal: And one of my buddies got together with my mom and they are, him and my mom spoke and said let’s do a semi intervention and tell Sunita to get a real job.

Coach Fergie: Right.

Suneet Agarwal: So I decided to be a realtor. Yeah. Just, what else am I gonna do? I was in my mid thirties at this point, so I became a realtor.

My first year of real estate, I was the rookie of the year for the West Coast for Coldwell Banker. I was like, whoa, I could do this.

Coach Fergie: 2013 ish?

Suneet Agarwal: 2014.

Coach Fergie: 2004. Okay. Got you. Okay.

Suneet Agarwal: And then I really got the hang of real estate. I started a real estate team my second year as a realtor. I started a real estate brokerage my fourth year as a realtor [00:11:00] very prematurely.

Coach Fergie: Sure,

Suneet Agarwal: I was just. I was a hustler man. And I just wanted to grow and I just wanted to work.

Six years after getting my license, my team ended up being the number one team in the state of California selling over a billion dollars worth of real estate in one year. And I live in Sacramento.

Yeah. Not in San Diego or Beverly Hills.

Coach Fergie: So with, would that be

Suneet Agarwal: our average?

Coach Fergie: Yeah, go ahead. What was your price point? That’s what I was gonna say. What’s your, what was your price point?

Suneet Agarwal: It was like 400.

Coach Fergie: Right? Gotcha, gotcha.

Suneet Agarwal: So we sold a couple thousand homes that year. Record, I still hold for the most productive team in the state at the time.

Number one in my locals Sacramento for. So many years I might still be it. I just don’t check anymore. I was tired of seeing myself, number one. Led

Coach Fergie: love this guy.

Suneet Agarwal: Yeah. And then that led into lots of great coaching opportunities, right? Yeah. Like my coach and mentor. He wanted to expand his coaching business.

Brought me along, and that just opened up. We were talking about rebirth. That was another rebirth, right? Yeah. I had [00:12:00] to rebirth myself as a mortgage guy, then as a cannabis guy, then as a real estate guy, then as a coach. Yeah. And coaching really took off. It’s just a fulfilling business, which I’m sure that you feel right and

Coach Fergie: Absolutely.

Suneet Agarwal: When you’re. Working with high performers and business people it really feels good to get somebody to the next level.

Coach Fergie: A hundred

Suneet Agarwal: percent. And I really went all in on coaching. And next thing my coaching business is, a big, huge coaching business for team leaders that just got acquired last week.

Coach Fergie: That I didn’t, I wanted you to say it. One, you were an OG with real quick question. Was your, was the cannabis business, the cash business where you had to have armored trucks around stuff like that at that time? Or was it,

Suneet Agarwal: so that was the issue, right? Is the federal government didn’t let us bank, so I was switching banks as soon as the bank would find out what we did.

Coach Fergie: Okay.

Suneet Agarwal: So that created a red flag for the Fed. This guy’s changing bank accounts every month,

Coach Fergie: and it’s a lot of money.

Suneet Agarwal: And it was a, it was substantial [00:13:00] amount of cash, right? It was even more so I had armed guards. I had armed guards live in my house for some time, man. Yeah, I bet.

I bet, right?

Coach Fergie: Yeah,

Suneet Agarwal: I had armed guards at the office and, the armored trucks coming for the cash and all that. Yeah, it was crazy time. Yeah. Bro, like this was 2012,

Coach Fergie: right? Yeah. It was not even. Like a thing, it was still frowned upon and whatnot. And what one, the thing I love about your trajectory and moving towards the real estate afterwards is that, and then into coaching is, I’ve had the same coach since 1999, right?

The same person for 20, almost 27 years. And she was saying like in 2013, she’s you’re ready to be a coach. And I’m like, what are you talking about? I have you, you need to coach anybody. And she said as a realtor, not only are we. Selling someone a house, arguably the biggest investment to that point in their life.

Absolutely. But we’re also a marriage counselor. ’cause our husband and wife absolutely argue, we’re also babysitters when they’re looking at the house and stuff. So it’s like absolutely. It prepped us. Prepped me [00:14:00] for coaching, to be able to say, Hey, do, you’ve worked at the high level of someone’s life?

But I was also telling you I did five, $10 coaching sessions with agents ’cause they’d see what I was doing as an agent and then, and want to pick it. But I found out myself consulting a lot more than coaching sure. Telling them what to do. And as I moved into, again, now working with NFL, working with M-L-B-P-G-A, they forgot more about their craft than I’ll ever know.

Sure. Do you lean more towards coaching or consulting or are you a coach consultant? Like which way did you go with that?

Suneet Agarwal: All of the above.

Coach Fergie: Okay.

Suneet Agarwal: Because my business that just got acquired the reside platform is a consulting business. ’cause it’s not such transactional coaching

Coach Fergie: Roger.

Suneet Agarwal: Okay. To where it’s all encompassing, we do much more and

If I work with a team, I work, we work with their agents, we do their books, have fractional CFO marketing, all that stuff.

So I would, I like to compare myself more to, like a McKinsey type deal. I’m not there yet, but that’s my [00:15:00] aspiration.

Right?

Coach Fergie: Yeah. I love it. Yeah. That like I could see with real estate, I can lean in and help people a lot that, that I’m coaching. But again, with other businesses, I had to really, my superpower is curiosity. I feel it is.

And so really lean in, I believe that everyone knows what they want.

They just don’t know how to talk themselves into it. So like when you ask that right question that you see that light bulb go off and you hold ’em accountable. Yes.

Suneet Agarwal: Yes. The accountability is a big part of

Coach Fergie: any

Suneet Agarwal: coaching relationship.

Coach Fergie: Yes. So when someone loses everything like you did, there’s maybe not on the surface, but underneath there’s like ego embarrassment and sometimes even a little shame, even though you did nothing wrong, but you’re like, dude, you know what’s kinda did you have any lies that, let me ask this.

What lie did you have to kill in your own mind before you could rebuild to that championship level? Was there a lie that was popping up? Suneet?

Suneet Agarwal: I really thought multiple times that like life as I knew it was over, like I [00:16:00] had missed my opportunity that the ship had sailed.

Coach Fergie: Yes, sir. Yeah,

Suneet Agarwal: right.

And even today, from going to. Number one, real estate in the fifth, biggest economy in the damn world. Huge,

Coach Fergie: huge.

Suneet Agarwal: Like going from that to being a, I thought that I had made it then.

Then I then when I became a coach, I thought I had made it. Then. Right now my coaching, my consulting company’s been acquired.

Coach Fergie: Yeah.

Suneet Agarwal: The thing that happens is like. We don’t know what the future entails. The big thing for me, and there’s a quote from Arnold Schwarzenegger that I love is early to bed. Early to rise. Work, advertise. Yeah, exactly right.

Coach Fergie: You are

Suneet Agarwal: my

Coach Fergie: brother from another mother, dude. I’m telling

Suneet Agarwal: you. That’s my favorite saying

Coach Fergie: love

Suneet Agarwal: that.

And that’s really how I live my life. Like work like hell. What’s work? Like hell. Yeah, just work your butt off.

Coach Fergie: Love it.

Love that. You know that fricking quote too, you’re the first person that breathes air that I’ve said That’s actually said it.

Suneet Agarwal: Oh, no

Coach Fergie: way.

Suneet Agarwal: [00:17:00] Yeah.

Coach Fergie: I love that quote. A lot of agents like that you’ve coached.

This is for some agents that listen to this, maybe you could drop some knowledge here. They say they want freedom and legacy, but they build chaos and they call it success, right? So where most entrepreneurs and agents, lying to themselves right now about really getting to that next level.

Like where’s the lie being told?

Suneet Agarwal: I think people don’t understand the sacrifice that growth takes.

Coach Fergie: Yes.

Suneet Agarwal: And the gestation

Coach Fergie: period, dude. Right?

Suneet Agarwal: The gestation period. Yes. You will sacrifice time with your loved ones.

You will sacrifice money. Yeah. You will sacrifice hobbies, personal relationships.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t hang out with many people.

Coach Fergie: Yeah, yeah. You eat alone a lot. Just curious. Like Me too all the time, bro. And it’s actually, to me, feels good.

Suneet Agarwal: Yes.

Coach Fergie: It’s like I like that time. ’cause like you I’m sure, like I know for a fact you, but I do have my phone’s just [00:18:00] blowing up, which I’m blessed, but at the same time, that introverted time that I can give myself.

Absolutely.

Suneet Agarwal: Yeah. I have all my meals scheduled on my calendar four times a day, and that is a golden time where I’m not disturbed.

Coach Fergie: It’s a short time. Absolutely, brother. Yeah. So the where are you seeing them? Lackluster and those people, those clients out there they, they’ll get busy.

And they call it success, but it’s chaos. So what is, what would be like one thing you can tell ’em?

Suneet Agarwal: Like really basic. Yeah. That I know so many high performers, especially entrepreneurs, don’t do is, this is so cliche, but what’s your calendar frigging look like?

Coach Fergie: Ah, yes. Yes.

Suneet Agarwal: What’s your like?

Coach Fergie: Yes, dude. What’s

Suneet Agarwal: your calendar look like?

Coach Fergie: Hundred percent.

Suneet Agarwal: Yes. Get on a coaching call, someone starts to complain about something. Show me your calendar.

Coach Fergie: Yes.

Suneet Agarwal: Like what is all this white space?

Right. Do you have My calendar is zero white space,

Coach Fergie: right? Yeah.

Suneet Agarwal: Everything is organized and I think that’s a really big thing.

[00:19:00] And next, chaos. You have to systematize your processes. Sure. And I think now with ai, it’s become infinitely more simple.

Coach Fergie: Yeah.

Suneet Agarwal: However, do you have a SOP for everything that you do?

Coach Fergie: True.

Suneet Agarwal: Do you have a checklist for everything that you do? I really live by that stuff. Yeah. And it allows me to propel projects forward.

Ensure completion instead of just coming up with a bunch of new ideas and just letting ’em linger in my brain and getting lost. So documentation, tracking, systems, have that, personal operating system.

Coach Fergie: Absolutely. AI makes it easy, makes it so easy. It’s the core.

I made it in the past. I’m not gonna say I’m an early adopter, but I’ve literally been used as a core infrastructure in my business. For probably two years now. And like we building out agents right now, like our, chat agents that are just bringing business in, the companies to ourselves that we can refer out the what AI can [00:20:00] do.

But to go back to what you said about. The calendar, dude, like one I have to look at two things ’cause one, you’ll never outperform your inner circle, right? The people you’re with, you’ll never outperform ’em. But also the calendar, if there’s white space, there’s stuff that can be done. And I’m, thank you very much for backing me up on saying that.

’cause I say it all the time to people.

Suneet Agarwal: Yeah like I said, put your meal time on there, put your gym time on there, put your off time in there. Create those deadlines where you get up from the computer.

Coach Fergie: Yes.

Suneet Agarwal: And I really believe, dude, putting your meals on there and having that time not only increases your health

Coach Fergie: Yeah.

Suneet Agarwal: And your preparedness. And just your energy level

Coach Fergie: a

Suneet Agarwal: hundred percent. If you’re running on fumes all day, like good luck.

Coach Fergie: Yeah. Yeah. At that level. Absolutely. So have you seen the movie Back to the Future?

Suneet Agarwal: Yeah, of course. Yeah.

Coach Fergie: Okay. Let’s get that Delore with Marty McFly. Let’s go back to the double deuce, the 22-year-old son. With what you know now, what would you, knowledge nuggets, we call him, that’s what we call him here. What would you drop on him [00:21:00] to maybe not so much change it? ’cause your journey is a story to tell, which is pretty awesome.

Sure. You might have to go through it, but what would you might tell him at 22 to maybe help him shorten his learning curve and blast through maybe a little bit faster.

Suneet Agarwal: Quit parting so hard.

Coach Fergie: A hundred percent. Absolutely

Suneet Agarwal: right. There was a very long time, well into my thirties where, I had some issues with addiction drinking way too much.

Coach Fergie: Sure.

Suneet Agarwal: Making poor decisions and Sure.

Coach Fergie: You’re gonna say making porn, it’s Yeah.

Suneet Agarwal: Yeah. But

Coach Fergie: No, no poor decisions. Absolutely brother.

Suneet Agarwal: But I had health struggles. As a result, I was, very overweight and I was still able to accomplish what I did. If I would’ve cleaned my act up back then just a little bit more,

Coach Fergie: right,

Suneet Agarwal: where could I be now?

Yeah, of course. I, there’s no regrets.

Coach Fergie: Yeah,

Suneet Agarwal: the story is the story, but I often think about that. What if I wasn’t like. 22 years old waking up and going to the bar and started drinking Diego Red Bulls, right? [00:22:00]

Coach Fergie: Yeah, a hundred percent. So how do you want your dash remembered? That little line in between your incarnation date and your expiration date, your life date, and your death date.

If someone is to read something about you, hopefully it’s way down the line. ’cause this world needs you. But you know how do you wanna be remembered with that? How do you want your dash remembered?

Suneet Agarwal: Inspirational.

Coach Fergie: Love it. Yeah.

Suneet Agarwal: Right.

Coach Fergie: Yeah. And the thing is the trajectory you’re on and what you’ve learned you’ll keep yourself safer now, than you did before, but also hundred percent Also you’re also in the process planting trees that you’re never gonna sit in the shade of.

You know what I’m saying? You’re starting absolutely. You drop those seeds, bro. And that’s, to me is legacy. That that’s what it’s all about.

Time to shine today. Podcast Varsity Squad. We are back and Suneet like you and I like when you can carve time for me again. I’m gonna bust your balls about this. ’cause if you Yeah, bus five miles from me. I’m going to, bro. No seriously. If we ever meet up, we’ll probably talk about a lot of these questions like, for maybe 10, 15 minutes.

But today you have five [00:23:00] seconds with no explanations and I promise you that they can be answered in five seconds. You ready to level up? Here we go. Cindy, what is the best leveling up advice you’ve ever received?

Suneet Agarwal: Market yourself.

Coach Fergie: Yes. Share one of your personal habits that contributes to your success.

Marketing myself, I said Yes.

Suneet Agarwal: Seriously. Yeah, bro I post on social media three to five times a day on Facebook. I get 37 million views a month, bro. That’s awesome. So like

Coach Fergie: insane

Suneet Agarwal: Market yourself.

Coach Fergie: Yes.

Suneet Agarwal: Market yourself.

Coach Fergie: Yes. If you saw me somewhere and yeah, Fergi looks like he’s in his doldrums, what book might you hand me that you maybe picked up and read?

And it flipped that switch into a more prosperous mindset.

Suneet Agarwal: Meditations, mark, Aelius

Coach Fergie: Marcus. All day. Absolutely. All

Suneet Agarwal: day

Coach Fergie: maybe? Yeah. Yeah. Your most commonly used emoji, if any, when you text

Suneet Agarwal: fire.

Coach Fergie: Fire nicknames growing up.

Suneet Agarwal: Sun. Eat the treat.

Coach Fergie: The treat. I love it, bro, you have I my

Suneet Agarwal: [00:24:00] treat for a long time.

Yes.

Coach Fergie: Yeah, any hidden talents or superpowers that nobody knows about until now?

Suneet Agarwal: If you look at my background, one guitar, but there’s about 10 amazing one ones I saw

Coach Fergie: YouTube, dude. Yes. Yeah.

Suneet Agarwal: Yeah. Big into music. Big into metal and shredding on the guitar. It’s

Coach Fergie: hell’s hell.

Suneet Agarwal: Yeah.

Coach Fergie: So chest checkers are monopoly.

Suneet Agarwal: Whew. Not checkers.

Coach Fergie: Me neither, dude.

Suneet Agarwal: Yeah, probably chess.

Coach Fergie: Chess, okay. I’m getting better at chess, but I still suck ’cause there’s some masters around here that just makes me into hoops. Oh, I

Suneet Agarwal: definitely suck. I definitely suck. But definitely chess. Chess mindset,

Coach Fergie: right? Love it. Love it. Headline for your life.

Suneet Agarwal: Grit. Yes. Inspirational.

Coach Fergie: Yes. Do you buy into any superstitions at all?

Suneet Agarwal: Oh, if you ask my 9-year-old daughter, she says, I’m very superstitious. All the [00:25:00] old school Indian superstitions that my mom passed on at me it’s ridiculous.

Coach Fergie: Have one thing when I get into bed, my right foot has to touch the floor last.

Other than that, I don’t have any, it’s weird. I get in and Susan, she’s what do you now, when we first met, she’s what are you doing? I’m like, I have to touch lower a foot. Anyways, it is weird, but it’s my thing. Go to ice cream flavor.

Suneet Agarwal: Oh dude, I got, I’m really into the butter pecan now. I love it.

Yeah. Like it’s something new I got into last couple years. It’s so good. Love it. Yes, love it.

Coach Fergie: Yeah. There’s a sandwich called Sun the Treat. What’s on that sandwich? What are we eating?

Suneet Agarwal: It’s super healthy.

Coach Fergie: Yeah, do a little, probably chicken pesto or something, or

Suneet Agarwal: Oh, PEs pest. No pesto bro. Like tuna with like Greek yogurt and mustard.

Like not even getting mayo in there.

Coach Fergie: Love

Suneet Agarwal: it. Sourdough bread to keep it good for the gi.

Coach Fergie: Yeah. Love me some sourdough. Actually, my lady, that’s her business. You big sourdough. It’s

amazing.

Coach Fergie: Yeah.

Suneet Agarwal: That’s I didn’t eat any bread for five years.

Till I saw on YouTube. That sourdoughs not bad,

Coach Fergie: dude.

Yeah.

Suneet Agarwal: I’ve been [00:26:00] going through some sourdough lately,

Coach Fergie: man. And it’s just crazy. I’m breaking my own rule here on the lightning round, but it’s like, we went to Italy not too long ago and Oh, awesome. They bread and pasta every day. I know and it’s like they’re all skinny. But what I found out is, of course, my curiosity, I did a deep dive.

If folic acid is all over our food here, they spray it to preserve it, and I carry the motherfucker gene or the MTFR gene right in me. So if you take anything that says enrich, fortified on the side of it, inflames my system. So over in Italy, they don’t have any of that in their food. So that’s where the folic

Suneet Agarwal: acid, wow.

Coach Fergie: Yes, exactly. They, and just do a dive on it. ’cause that’s your I’m about to, yes. Yeah. And it’s insane what it does. And then also when you do your blood work acid, if you have the MTFR gene, they call it the motherfucker gene, which I’m gonna bleep this out squad. So you’ll hear a couple people, it is, yeah.

But okay. Last or two more questions. Favorite charity and or organization you like to give your time and or money to?

Suneet Agarwal: My wife does a [00:27:00] lot of the charity stuff for us. I recently did something for Weave, which is weave is about victims of domestic violence and their children.

So that’s just what we did lately. For the longest time, I was all about, like dogs dog stuff, right? Yeah. But recently after being a dad and not just a dog owner, the kids mean something.

Coach Fergie: Love it, man. Love it. So I’m now, I’m the kid’s grown. I’m into dogs and like abused women, so I do it too. Yeah. Absolutely. Last question, and this is gonna be a fun one for you, but best decade of music, and you can expand on this one 60 seventies, eighties, or nineties, if you had to pick one.

Suneet Agarwal: Oh man. I.

Coach Fergie: I’m thinking eighties for metal, I don’t know. I’m

Suneet Agarwal: thinking eighties and like early nineties.

Coach Fergie: Early nineties. Yeah, the

Suneet Agarwal: garage bands came out. Dude. Not even, I’m thinking like 85 to 93

Coach Fergie: okay. It’s the best era of music ever.

Suneet Agarwal: It’s like lots of good Aussie stuff. Guns N Roses. Yeah. Lot of good Aussie stuff. Then in,

Coach Fergie: how old are you? Can you, [00:28:00] do you mind saying,

Suneet Agarwal: I’m 48,

Coach Fergie: you’re 40. I’m 54, so we’re still in that genre, but like totally the eighties.

Is like our, everything happens. You listen to songs now, especially rappers. They’ll have the hook of songs like Pit Bull uses all aha. Remember? Aha. The He totally

Suneet Agarwal: does.

Coach Fergie: Yeah. But we have we had the big Hair Don’t Care. The metal, the Glam Rock, Beastie Boys run DMC, like all this stuff was in the eighties, dude.

We were so good. It’s so lucky.

Suneet Agarwal: Yeah,

Coach Fergie: so lucky man.

Suneet Agarwal: Dude, my first album I ever got when I was four or five years old was Judas Bri screaming for mentions

Coach Fergie: Judas. That’s awesome. That’s awesome.

Suneet Agarwal: Electric Eye was my favorite song as like a 5-year-old

Coach Fergie: dude. Dude that’s awesome. So what do you play a band or anything?

Do you cover anything or like you have originals, like what’s your story? Because I see on YouTube you have guitars and

Suneet Agarwal: Yeah. Being in a band is like having multiple girlfriends.

Coach Fergie: Yeah.

Suneet Agarwal: So that doesn’t really work for [00:29:00] me. I sit around and I’ll play on the computer. One of my neighbors is one of the Top Rock drummers in a Grammy nominated band.

Coach Fergie: Wow.

Suneet Agarwal: So I, so I like talk to him, but I just play on the computer man. Like

Coach Fergie: That’s awesome. In. Yeah, it’s a the kind of a freelance thing. You could probably become a fractional guitarist, like fractional, like I’m a fractional COOI just brought in to help me with that white space in my stuff.

But I’d be a fractional guitarist, right? I

Suneet Agarwal: mean, I would love to. It just, it’s a big time c commitment.

Coach Fergie: Huge bro.

Suneet Agarwal: Right?

Coach Fergie: Yeah. Awesome. It’s I don’t, yeah, I just, yeah. I couldn’t do it with the timeframe and stuff. But let’s get into you, back to you with how can we find you Suneet?

Suneet Agarwal: Yeah. Find me on Facebook, Sunita Agarwal.

Find me on Instagram, Suncore Agarwal nine six. If you are in real estate, thinking about starting a team. My book just came out last week. Team Leader secrets.com. [00:30:00]

Coach Fergie: Love

Suneet Agarwal: that. Check it out and yeah, I’m pretty easy to find.

Coach Fergie: Is it on Amazon, brother?

Suneet Agarwal: It is, yeah.

Coach Fergie: Okay. So it’s Team leader secrets.com.

You, I’ll pull it up real quick. Team Leader,

Suneet Agarwal: team leader secrets.com is the website, but if you go at Team Leader Secrets on Amazon, you’ll find it.

Coach Fergie: Got it. Got it. There it is. Yeah. Here we go man. That’s awesome. So I’m gonna do, yeah,

Suneet Agarwal: thanks dude.

Coach Fergie: I’m gonna do, being a

Suneet Agarwal: published author is crazy.

Coach Fergie: Yeah.

It’s a that’s my book’s coming out. It’s called Harmonic Sal. It’s coming out and I got, I love that. Some big ’cause everyone believes in balance. And balance is junk. You have 10 10 pounds. 10 pounds at zero. But like I love jazz, like Susan, and I’ll go seek out jazz bars November.

Suneet Agarwal: Oh, awesome.

Coach Fergie: And so if you have like maybe God or spirituals, the drums, personal growth might be the guitar family, might be the piano horns.

Our community, work, money, living environment, health and recreation, they’re all different instruments. If one of them’s outta tune, you’re not in harmony. But all you have to do is get a coach, a friend, or someone [00:31:00] like that to help you get. That instrument or that pillar of your life in tune, right?

Yes. And then you sound

Suneet Agarwal: accountability.

Coach Fergie: Yes. Yes, exactly. We said accountability in squad. If you’re watching on Vimeo or if you are watching on YouTube, this is Team Leader Secrets, but I’m a good friend. T I’m going to do a five book giveaway. So the first

Suneet Agarwal: Oh,

Coach Fergie: thanks dude. Five people that will you can text it to 5 6 1 4 4 0 3 8 3 0.

Just text. Let’s text just leader. Just put leader to me and then we will know that, get you a book mailed out. Also you can go find us on Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn. If you put Leader anywhere, I’ll know that it was you. ’cause I’ve never used that before. But again, SIDS, snit got his social is everywhere.

His Instagram, his. YouTube, he’s out there, he gets it done. He’s out to serve people, and it’s just, it’s absolutely just amazing what he’s doing and what he’s did. Thanks dude. Sneak, do me one last solid. Leave us with one last knowledge nugget we can take with [00:32:00] us and internalize and take action on.

Suneet Agarwal: It is just really the fundamentals calendar. Personal operating systems, gratitude. Do you write down your gratitude every day? Do you write down affirmations? Do you write down your intentions? Yeah. Like I have this huge process that really has helped me propel and keep my mindset straight.

Find your process, and lean in.

Coach Fergie: Ooh. I love that. So building those are the best for people, helping them build their best because by 9:00 AM their time. So if I’m coaching someone in California, it’d be noon my time, Singapore’s, whatever, but by 9:00 AM their time, they must text me. I’m sorry, email me in a a Google Doc or add to a Google Doc.

Three things they’re grateful for and their intention for the day.

Suneet Agarwal: Yeah,

Coach Fergie: they must

Suneet Agarwal: I write it every morning.

Coach Fergie: Yes, they have to do it. And I fired clients unfortunately. ’cause I’m like, listen, like I’m a huge believer and I’m sure you are too in the reticular activating system, right? Yes. So where if I’m [00:33:00] like, squad, I’ve might’ve said this before, I’ll say it again.

If Suneet’s Hey Fergie man, I got a Tesla. I’m like, dude, what’s a Tesla? I go see the Tesla. Never seen one before. And snee his emotions on it. I’m looking at him like, oh, that’s fricking sweet. How many Teslas will I see on my way home? I’ll see a lot. Yeah, a

Suneet Agarwal: ton.

Coach Fergie: And they’ve always been there.

So if just like Snee says he does gratitude every day, he sees how he can level up because by doing that, it activates that reticular activating system, and then more stuff comes to you. It’s fricking science squad. I don’t care what anyone says, it’s absolutely science. But this has just been a fantastic interview.

With a good friend Sunita, who had an eight year college. We’ll go back to the Tommy boy joke of Yeah, they’re called doctors, but no, he did get to college. Yeah, no, it’s called

Suneet Agarwal: a bachelor’s.

Coach Fergie: Yeah. Squad, one thing that I love about Sunita is he made adjustments and not excuses ’cause that’s what winners do.

He told us about the gestation period. If you drop an acorn on the ground, an oak tree’s not gonna grow. Because you gotta fertilize it. You gotta make sure it gets sunlight and water. He’s big on that gestation period, and I said it before, he is planting trees. He’s never gonna sit in the [00:34:00] shade up.

Another thing I notice on his social, which he’s big, and especially on Facebook and whatnot, he does it for the intention, not the attention. He’s not out there leaning against Lambos. He’s got all that. He’s not doing it for that. He does it for the intention. He is gonna be remembered as somebody that was inspirational.

He’s gonna slide across home plate, bumped, bruised, broken, but he still scored. And he’s gonna do that by providing service to people. And lastly, he reminded us about the fundamentals and accountability to yourself. Get up. Own the first hour of your day, be throw out some gratitude. You read what’s gonna level you up and make it so you can go out and serve other people.

And that’s what he does. He levels up his health. He levels up his wealth. He’s a handsome devil. He’s earned his varsity squad here. He’s earned his varsity letter here, at Time to Shine today. Thank you so much for coming on brother. Absolutely love your thanks,

Suneet Agarwal: dude.

Coach Fergie: Yeah, this was

Suneet Agarwal: great.

Coach Fergie: Awesome.

Suneet Agarwal: Right on.

Coach Fergie: Bye.
