To live a life of options and not obligations on this platform, we are soaked to bring you high performers who are not just chasing and entertaining success, but redefining it through, providing above and beyond service. Now. As always, I launch a little [00:01:00] coaching knowledge nugget at the beginning of the show, and today I’m going to bring up my 1424, and I asked my clients when I first started working new, what does 1424 mean to you?
14 minutes, 24 seconds is exactly 1% of a day. And so 1% of the day, if you can dedicate 1% of your day to mental checkups, uh, whether it’s listen to a podcast, read 15 pages of a book, whatever it is that starts your day off with a 1424, it will reset, anchor you in and get you ready to take action for the day.
Right? So the truth is most people waste 1% of their day without even blinking high performers like my next guest here, they train with it. They use it to reset, refocus, and ignite. So as we lean into this episode, I challenge you, what will you do with your 1% of the day and talk about a true one percenter.
I’m so blessed, uh, to have my next guest on. She’s bold, she’s brilliant. She’s putting chiropractic care on the map front and center. Dr. Alessandra Colon isn’t just your everyday chiropractor. She’s the first [00:02:00] ever to bring real deal spinal healing to prime time with a TLC. Hit series. Crack Addicts. A proud Puerto Rican.
Say I rolled that. A cancer survivor. And the 2015 LLS, which is Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, woman of the Year. Dr. Colon is a force of nature who’s as fearless in the clinic as she’s in front of the camera from being crowned Palm Beach Best chiropractor to recently landing on a feature on the Today Show.
Dr. Colon proves that you can thrive through adversity, run a booming business, raise a family, and still dominate the airwaves. All with heart hustle and high vibes. Wanna know what it takes to go from Survivor to star. While making healing powerful and personal. Stick around here. Squat. Don’t go anywhere.
You’re about to hear from my really good friend, the Queen of Cracks herself. Dr. Alessandra Colon, thank you so much for coming on. This is soaking huge. Shout out to Steve Austin for putting us together, my sponsor. I
Dr. Alessandra Colon: know. I would’ve never thought I’m super stoked he did that for us. Yeah,
L. Scott Ferguson: he’s, he’s awesome.
He is the best. And um, he just couldn’t be here today. ’cause I guess he had other priorities with his [00:03:00] wife or something like that. Gosh. Like what the heck, Gabby? No. So like, I’m just gonna kind of. Dive right in with you, right? You’ve adjusted spines on national tv. Yes. Battled cancer. Built a healing empire here in South Florida.
So when you wake up in the morning, what fuels you now? More fame, impact healing, or maybe something deeper.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: I think definitely something deeper. Fame was just a, like a dot on my map. I didn’t really see any of that coming. It like a byproduct? Yeah. It was
L. Scott Ferguson: like, it just
Dr. Alessandra Colon: kind of happened. Um, phone to my, my, my lap.
I really am just a girl from Palm Beach Gardens. I keep it humble, I keep it simple, and I wake up with gratitude and I make sure that that’s what I deliver to my patients every day. I’m very well aware that my gift is giving.
L. Scott Ferguson: Yeah, like the 1424 that I talked about earlier, like resonates big time with you.
I mean, huge. Just walking through our office squad and if you’re in South Florida. For a warm introduction, call me at five six one four four zero three eight three zero five six one four four zero three eight three zero. I’d love to make a warm introduction. And if you’re local here, I’ll, I’ll meet you at the office and introduce you to Dr.
Clone or awesome staff, which [00:04:00] your, uh, staff is here, Seville as well. Um, so you became the first chiropractor to start on national TV show crack addicts, right? Yes. So what made you say yes to that visibility and how has it transformed the way you connect with people that are hurting team?
Dr. Alessandra Colon: I never realized I’m learning to own my superpower, which is a gift of giving and healing.
Um, and. Just transpired. I am someone who is a very energetic soul, whether it’s through my practice, through my hands, through my conversations with my patients, and it all started on a TikTok ’cause I was just. Being ridiculous.
L. Scott Ferguson: So funny.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Literally being ridiculous.
L. Scott Ferguson: Uh, it
Dr. Alessandra Colon: hit like 17 million views overnight.
And I get this email and it’s from TLC and they’re like, listen, we’d love for you to be the first ever chiropractic on TLC. And I’m like, yeah, no way. Because in my mind I’m thinking, one, I’m totally terrified. There is a massive controversy behind chiropractic. Huge.
L. Scott Ferguson: Yeah.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Um, and so I wasn’t sure if that was the energy I wanted to give it.
[00:05:00] But I’m glad I did it. I love it. I’m glad I put it on the spectrum. I’m glad I jumped to it. Balls to the walls.
L. Scott Ferguson: Yeah. That’s awesome. That’s
Dr. Alessandra Colon: really what I did. You know, and you, I owned it.
L. Scott Ferguson: Look, and you look at you, you’re hard driven. You’re working, but you’re little. Okay. And I’m like, I had Dr. Ryan up in Michigan.
Shout out to you, Dr. Ryan. But like I actually, you allowed me to watch you adjust people and stuff like that. So you can need pushback from your size. And working with a guy like Jerome Betis. The bus that played for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Right. Do you get any pushback from stuff like that? I
Dr. Alessandra Colon: get pushback all the time.
If I’m too pretty, I’m not smart enough. If I’m female, I’m not educated. If I’m too tiny, I’m not fierce enough. So yeah, I can’t tell you the number of times somebody comes to my practice and they’re like, oh, you’re adjusting me. Like what? You’re like a buck 10 soaking wet. Right? Five foot one. And I’m just like, listen.
Gimme a minute, because here’s the thing, if you’re gonna put me already that low, I got nowhere else to give it up. Right? So I’m gonna just surprise you. And most of the time, the best part is I adjust them and it’s powerful. It’s simple. Yeah. There’s so much debt, so much speed to it. And they just go, oh my.
Gosh, that was [00:06:00] the best Yes. Ever.
L. Scott Ferguson: Yeah. I saw the, the looks on their faces when I was allowed to observe and like your equipment there, if you call it equipment, is state of the art. It’s not like some, like I remember going to chiropractor when I was playing sports and I was younger and be like. You’d get adjusted and he had to crank the table back up.
So I was like, how’s she gonna get the table Back up? You hit a button, shoot, raise back up for you. So you invest Yes. In your profession, right? I do.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Listen And then Jerome Bess, he’s a big guy, man. Yeah, he’s a big guy. He’s the bus man. Those shoulders are
L. Scott Ferguson: right, right.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Some of my NBA players, I mean we got like guys in there who are like.
Six 11. Right. Um, and I’m adjusting them.
L. Scott Ferguson: Right.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: It’s no problems. No problem.
L. Scott Ferguson: Yeah. And you offer a lot of different services there through the mc, wellness and Spa, right? Yeah. So like, tell us about, a little bit about the other services that you offered. It
Dr. Alessandra Colon: was, it was also the show. Um, this show brought me just patients from all over the world and it forced me to wanna elevate my practice, elevate my skillset as physician, but also bring.
Wealth to a different level and wellness to a different level for [00:07:00] my clients. So not everybody who walks through my practice is a chiropractic candidate. Let’s get that straight,
L. Scott Ferguson: right,
Dr. Alessandra Colon: so I can heal them by way of peptides. H-R-T-T-R-T. Botox for migraine headaches. Yeah. Um, facials. That’s my, Susan has those
L. Scott Ferguson: and that’s why.
Yeah.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Um, facials for trigeminal neuralgia and it just kind of proliferated from there. Okay. It became like a full, like med spa.
L. Scott Ferguson: So when someone comes in, you’re not just, Hey, hop on the table and stuff. ’cause I know that when you talk to me, you’re like, okay, there’s a whole battery of tests. Yes. And, and stuff like that.
And so you make sure you check every box and dot every I and every t. So as a pop, proud Puerto can. You know, and cancer survivor, how have those two parts of your identity shaped how you lead, heal, and show up in the world? Because, you know, again, female Puerto Rican, right. You know, and high energy. Right.
But also being a cancer survivor as well, and leaning into it, you know, leaning into more of a holistic health. Right. So how has that kinda shaped you?
Dr. Alessandra Colon: I think being Puerto Rican, I’m, I’m so proud of my culture. Love it. We are, [00:08:00] we are high energy culture, our food, our dance, our love. It’s, it’s the most beautiful thing in the world, so I’m very proud of that.
Um, but cancer was something that I went through at a very young age that I. I’m grateful for because it gave me a perspective I’m not sure I would’ve had without right. Um, and it just, it allowed me to show up and overcome things. I had a lot of adversity young, you know, this. And so it was either that I was gonna become the situation that I was in, or I was gonna overcome it.
And that taught me a lot about living. I love that a lot. About loving and a lot about giving. Yes. ’cause I truly believe when what you give right is what you get. A hundred percent. And I understood that very clearly. Once I had cancer,
L. Scott Ferguson: uh, you know, in in squad she’s talking about making adjustments and not making excuses.
’cause winners make adjustments. Mediocre people, let’s just say losers, they make excuses and she made the adjustments. To, you know, level up and lean into people and you’re doing it with giving, but still [00:09:00] open to that reciprocity, right? It’s like a lot of people, they close off to the reciprocity. With my coaching clients, I’ll say, there’s a plant over here.
What do we breathe in? We breathe in oxygen. What do we breathe out? Carbon dioxide. The plant does the exact opposite. Do we give the plant a choice? No. It just does it. So I love that you, you’re open to receiving as well. You know,
Dr. Alessandra Colon: it’s, it’s a constant. It’s not, it’s not just giving, but it’s a constant ev evolution of who you are, right?
And it’s constantly leveling up and your situation will always be different. So you have to be able to adapt every single day. You have to be able to harness in, look, be self-aware of your vices so you can get to that better, that better place in your life. I am not a believer of the woes Me game. That just didn’t happen.
Love that. Sorry. Love, love
L. Scott Ferguson: it. Yeah. Take responsibility. Lean into it. I mean, responsibility is. The ability to respond. Right. That’s rooted right into the word. Right. And so you didn’t react to it. You weren’t like playing victim, you leaned into it and just do it. And that, that’s what I love with your patience.
’cause I was hearing you without. Spilling too much. Like really getting them to take their own responsibility for their [00:10:00] lifestyle as well. That like you’re going there, yes, you make ’em feel good, but if they don’t do the stretching, if they don’t do the other things right.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Yeah. 50% I tell ’em patients, I’m here.
Right. To give you my expert opinion. Right, right. But the expert in the room is my patient, believe it or not. Right. Only you know your body, only you know what you’re doing to show up in this world. And so that’s whether it’s exercise, drinking, water, all those things, that’s your homework.
L. Scott Ferguson: Yes. And, and I love it so.
Your practice doesn’t just crack backs, which we talked about before. It combines cupping, decompression, scraping, shockwave therapy and even more. So what’s, what’s one technique that still blows you away with the results? It brings,
Dr. Alessandra Colon: honestly, spinal decompression. I’m here for spinal decompression. Um, that
L. Scott Ferguson: machine’s awesome by the way.
It’s
Dr. Alessandra Colon: amazing. It’s my number one for cervical disc injury, lumbar disc injury, sciatic. Um, I have gotten so many patients, um, who were pre-surgical. Walking pain, shooting down to their hands and legs. They are, they are a better person because of PON decompression and I’ve been able to get them [00:11:00] outta the surgery and that is so incredible to say.
I love that. I love PON Decompression. Well, wellness
L. Scott Ferguson: without surgery, if you can get them, like I had Matt Le Bosco for Movement Os he’s in Palm Beach. I have to make that introduction to you as well. Fantastic. He, his whole goal is to have you not go to surgery. Yeah. Right. And that’s what, you know, bring people like you and.
And the movement os get the body moving like a human body should move.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Amen. Right. Amen. It’s built to move. Movement is key. Yes. Period. And people have to understand that in health, and this is where people go wrong. Oh, once I go to the chiropractor, I always have to go back. Guys, you have to show up and do work in your relationships and your finances, whether it’s your school homework, whether it’s a project you have to keep doing the work.
Maintenance is the hardest part, right? Right. Same thing applies to your health. You don’t do it once and just say up.
L. Scott Ferguson: Right.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: I’m done. Wash
L. Scott Ferguson: your car one time and see if, you know, get it. Get one oil change in eight years. Right. And see how the car runs. The theory doesn’t.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Yes, it doesn’t. Right. That’s not how it works.
Right. So yes, you have to keep going.
L. Scott Ferguson: I love that in [00:12:00] squad. We are going to throw it to my really good friend Ann. Doc Alessandra’s, good friend Steve Austin for our mortgage update here in Palm Beach, uh, county. And so just stick around ’cause we’re gonna dig back into some NFL Legends that she’s worked with and one of her favorite transformations that she’s had.
So Steve, take it away.
Steve Austin: Thanks Scott. Steve Austin here with the Revolution Mortgage Dynamic team with your mortgage market recap for the week of August 4th. Mortgage bonds have maintained a high level of training since the jobs report last week, and I’m not mad about it. With a stable week of bond levels, we have seen improvements in rates.
So for those out there purchasing now you should be seeing benefits in your mortgage options. Holding onto these levels is something that hasn’t been happening and is why we have seen more volatility up and down with rates. If we can keep on this path, it will continue to help the buying powers of consumers next week.
The always market moving CPI reports will be coming out on Tuesday. The measure of inflation is very key in what the rate market’s going to do, so as always, we’ll be keeping a close eye on that. That’s it for this week. Have a great weekend everybody. L. Scott Ferguson: Hey Steve, thank you so much for the update. We are on a little bit of an upswing here with the mortgage and real estate world, which is such a good sign.
And we’re back with my good friend, Dr. Alessandra colon, miss chiropractic.com, and that’s MISS chiropractic.com. So. You’ve worked with everyone from NFL Legends to Everyday Heroes. Can you share a story of one patient transformation, which I, I want, like I know who you’re gonna go to here, but that kind of hit you in the heart, reminded of you, of why you do this.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Yes. It’s, you can even
L. Scott Ferguson: say her name if you want.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Yes. Logan Page. She’s from Boston.
L. Scott Ferguson: She’s awesome,
Dr. Alessandra Colon: man. What a transformation that I’m so proud of. Again, a testimonial too. Not only a show as a physician, how it pushed me. She’s a patient from Boston Guy. She flies in for 30 days at a time and she gets adjusted every single day while she’s with me.
Um, just to give you a tid back, she [00:15:00] has a mass in her cerebellum, her little brain, migraine headache. She’s been an opioids for over 17 years of her life. Cerebral palsy does not allow her to walk properly. Um, so many Ann Ailments, uh, if you saw her x-ray, you’d be blown away, right? I mean, she
L. Scott Ferguson: barely could walk.
She didn’t even walk in right? Like or something. She barely, barely walk.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Um, she’s now about a year in with chiropractic care. She flies in every quarter. And I can safely say to date, she is opioid free. She is migraine free. She is not pain free. But we’re talking about someone who was a 10 outta 10 pain can now be in livable.
Two outta 10. I will take it. Chronic pain is a real thing and it is a silent killer for so many people. She, she’s a walking miracle and it makes me proud to be a chiropractor.
L. Scott Ferguson: I love that. You got her away from dope sick. You know, like she got her off. Was she kind of. I wanna say addicted, but was she really relying on those killers?
Oh my God. Her
Dr. Alessandra Colon: first day she walked in, you could even hear it. The, yeah, the, the, the ness dry, the dry mouth, you know, the unsteady [00:16:00] hands, the shaking. Um, it was the real deal guys, and, and she was. She was so tonic. Her musculature were voluntarily contracting all the time. Yeah. She literally physically couldn’t bend and flex her knees.
Her arms within one adjustment. I have it on video,
L. Scott Ferguson: right.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: One adjustment. She was flexing and bending her knees, arms, like nothing.
L. Scott Ferguson: Was she an athlete before? Something like that. Because Really? ’cause she looked, when you just look at her, she looks like your athlete. And listen, athletic woman. Right?
Incredible. Yeah. Incredible story. I was so blessed that the day I came into your office, she was there, you know? And to be able to meet her. So, you know. From the Today Show to being voted Palm Beach Best chiropractor, well deserved. You know, you’re in a spotlight. Most doctors never step into, so how do you stay grounded and keep your purpose front and center?
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Humility.
L. Scott Ferguson: Yeah,
Dr. Alessandra Colon: that’s the word. Humility. Okay. Humble
L. Scott Ferguson: yet hungry, right? Yes,
Dr. Alessandra Colon: a hundred percent. I am very grounded of where I came from. I did not come from a lot, and it is the one thing that makes me who I am, so I really am, it’s important for me to never lose sight of that. Um, [00:17:00] my friends, my family, I lean into my faith a lot, especially when.
I have times that I’m troubled, and when it gets to my head, let me tell you, God lets me know. Yeah. Every single time. Right.
L. Scott Ferguson: You know how you make God laugh, you know how you make God laugh. Tell him your plans.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Yes.
L. Scott Ferguson: Right. A hundred percent. It’s like he’s like, okay, we’re gonna flip this switch a little bit on you.
Yes. So you use this term a lot. It’s aggressive happiness. Right. I cleaned it, so, yeah. Yeah, I know. It’s awesome. I love it. So use that phrase. So what is that really? Mean to you in the, how do you live it out in the way you maybe treat patients, parents, lead, serve? Like, how, how does aggressive happiness really un, you know, lean into your life?
Dr. Alessandra Colon: It really goes back to my childhood that I, I talk about my trauma. Um, there was so much trauma happening for, I mean, I’m telling you for 20, 25 plus years of my life. Um, and I didn’t have time to cry about it,
L. Scott Ferguson: right?
Dr. Alessandra Colon: So it was, I’m gonna put a smile on my face. I’m gonna be strong. I’m gonna have the courage to show [00:18:00] up even when I don’t have the strength.
And that’s where overtly like I was gonna be aggressively happy, and I’m gonna make sure that everything I do that’s awesome is with a smile. I’m promoting positivity in this world energetically, and I’m gonna allow that to flow into my finances, my patient care, my family, my love life. That positivity is gonna bring me the best richness in the world.
And
L. Scott Ferguson: it’s programmed into you.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Yes.
L. Scott Ferguson: Like you, you did it so much, Scott. I always talk about repetition and really activating the reticular activating system, right? It’s kind of like that thing that like kind of goes into subconscious mode. Like people will be like, Fergie, you’re always. Happy. It’s like, it’s because I am, it’s not like an act, you know?
I have my moments. Don’t get me wrong though. Yes. But it’s like,
Dr. Alessandra Colon: but it goes back to being a mindset is a practice. Yes. It’s a practice and we’re human. We’re gonna, we’re gonna have our days, we’re gonna have our lulls, we’re gonna have our pits and valleys. Yeah. But it’s still a practice. And when you’re feeling like you’re in that valley, you gotta reboot, look in the mirror, and go back to that mindset, that shift.
It says. I need to get back to that girl again. [00:19:00] Love that. Let me get back to where she is and it always kicks me back in butt. The
L. Scott Ferguson: neutral mindset kind of thing, right? So, you know, it’s like, ’cause like fergi, Mr. Positivity, I was at, um, a golf course, uh, country club and like I had a terrible round, right?
They’re like, Hey Mr. Positivity, how’d that work out for you? And I’m like, well, it didn’t work out that well. Did you know positivity doesn’t work? You know, mindset doesn’t work a hundred percent of the time, but you know what does work a hundred percent of the time? Negative mindset. A hundred percent it will, it’ll bring you down and destroy you.
It this destroys you. So when you’re maybe working with a, a prospect, they’re not even a client yet, maybe, and you kind of go through your protocol and stuff like that and kind of explain to ’em, is there any good question that you wish they would ask you but never do?
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Oh, man, that’s a solid question. I don’t think so.
And I, and I know it sounds ridiculous. It’s not that I don’t want them asking me a question. I’m just so intuitively reading them that I feel like I don’t need them to ask me the question. Okay. I already know they’re, I already know. I know what they’re going through. I know what they’re having a bad day.
It’s like [00:20:00] having a sick kid and not, they’re not telling you they’re sick. I just, I’m reading the room.
L. Scott Ferguson: Right.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: I can’t really, I can’t really explain that. Remember, I work
L. Scott Ferguson: with a doctor or something like that. I’m like, who treats you? Like seriously, who does it like, like I had a chiropractor one time that I was on the road and I just was, you know, I was speaking and it was, I needed it that day.
And I’m like, so who, you know who’s, who you know treats you? He goes, I don’t get chiropractic. No, I get adjusted
Dr. Alessandra Colon: every week by Dr. Jason Joel.
L. Scott Ferguson: Oh, jewel does? Yes, Tom for He says hello, man. He’s awesome. I was last night.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Dr. Steve Carrollton, Beth ak. I have a couple people in my back pocket. Okay. A hundred percent.
L. Scott Ferguson: And Jewel’s. Awesome man. Love Jewel. Like I, I met him at a networking event at PJ National probably 10 years ago. Greatest dude. Happy, jolly. Talk about happiness. Good. Really good dude. Good person. Right? I love that. So, so running a business, raising a family, healing others, living out loud in public. And what routines are non-negotiables, you know, or maybe even mindset, habits do,
Dr. Alessandra Colon: do you
L. Scott Ferguson: use to stay aligned?
I like, you’re 1424, like what do you do? No, I have
Dr. Alessandra Colon: three things that are my [00:21:00] non-negotiables. I must 1000% workout on the minimum three times a week. Okay. That is a non-negotiable. What are you doing for
L. Scott Ferguson: your
Dr. Alessandra Colon: workout? Um, I do yoga. I play tennis. Um, sometimes I just go do a group class with like some friends, whatever it might be.
But working out is where I free my mind. Uh, the second thing I do is I write it down to execute it. Guys, if you saw past my front desk, love it. If you saw, I carry a notebook with me like it’s my child, right? And every day I sit down. Before I start my day, I write out my to-do list. There you go. My affirmations.
I don’t care if it’s making the bed drinking water. Set in a meeting. I, it’s my goal setting. Right. It doesn’t matter how big or small it looks. Right. Okay. Number three, I really, really, really try hard to affirm all the time. Yes. Whether it’s before bed and going to bed, whether it is waking up in the morning and maybe doing affirmation through a podcast.
Sure. On my way to work. Yeah. Affirmation is key.
L. Scott Ferguson: Right. And, and use the like with, add the emotion [00:22:00] to it, incantations to it. And try this one time, turn your affirmation into a question. Like, you know, how am I feeling so healthy and grateful that like asking, because our, our minds are programmed to problem solve.
Right. So just a, use your affirmations just one day and turn it into a powerful question and see what happens.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Wanna do it today? Yeah. ‘
L. Scott Ferguson: cause it will like sit in your subconscious and be like start, you’ll start acting it out where you can say, I’m good, I’m great, I’m terrific, but how is it that I feel so good, feel so great, feel so terrific.
Just try it one time. My clients, I love it and like, get it, but then they start asking ’em the questions. They’re like. Dude, my, my subconscious starts answering it for me, which is really cool. Right now
Dr. Alessandra Colon: my current affirmations are evolved around my manifesto. Love it. So, like, my manifesto is not where I see myself in my current situation.
It’s where I wanna be, how I view my brain in 10 my life in 10 years. Whether it is I wanna be vacationing on a yacht. Yes, I wanna have this, I wanna have this, I wanna be able to travel with my kids. That’s my manifesto, that’s my future goal. So my affirmations are affirming where I wanna be.
L. Scott Ferguson: Love it. [00:23:00] Yeah.
And then where you will be.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Yes.
L. Scott Ferguson: Right. And that percent, that’s amazing. Squad. What I really got from that is, you know, if you. Don’t plan, then you’re failing to plan. Like a lot of people will fail the plan, right? It’s like you write it down. The power. Benjamin Franklin, I’m gonna totally Blitz Creek this, but he said the power of the faint ink is stronger than, you know, the whatever you can hold in your mind, if you can just write it down and see it and have it in your peripheral.
Because I have a board to my right and I, I write stuff. And like, ’cause I believe that goals are, uh, which I saw your book. Yeah. You know, and, and the goals are nothing but byproducts of your standards, like the standards that you hold yourself to and it’s there and your peripherals picking it up when you write it down.
The reticular activating system again, which I coach a lot from. Yes. You know, it really starts picking up on it. So. You’ve already made history, you know, but so like, what’s next? What mission or vision are you leaning into now that might surprise people watching your journey?
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Oh gosh, guys, I have some surprises coming up.
Uh, wink, wink. I [00:24:00] can’t really say some of these things, but I have a 10 year goal to really build my current project right now, which is the med spa, the chiropractic portion. Um, and create kind of residual income wealth. And more importantly, I really wanna bring chiropractic to the masses. Love it. And there are some things that are coming up that I know are gonna just change the game.
L. Scott Ferguson: Love it. Change the game. I love it. I kind of know squad, but you know, I’m not gonna say it. I can’t, can’t do it. I’m moms. I’m moms here. So. We’re gonna kind of, I do like a little bit of a lightning round, so you have like three to five seconds to answer these questions. I promise you they can all be answered that
Dr. Alessandra Colon: way.
I like it.
L. Scott Ferguson: Okay? Yes, I promise you so. So if you could crack one celebrity’s back, anyone in the world, who would it be? Who would be on your table?
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Bethany Frankl.
L. Scott Ferguson: Oh, really? Who, who’s that? I’m gonna break my role rule.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Uh, she’s on the Real Housewives Okay. Of New York City, but she’s a multifaceted millionaire.
Okay. Um, female boss. Pick your brain while you’re cracking. I, she’s in Palm Beach, Miami. I’m obsessed with her. [00:25:00] She’s a firecracker.
L. Scott Ferguson: So, you might have answered this before, but one morning ritual you swear by even when life’s chaotic.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Mm. Affirming.
L. Scott Ferguson: Love it. It’s on
Dr. Alessandra Colon: my mirror, literally written on my mirror.
L. Scott Ferguson: Biggest misconception about chiropractors in three words or less,
Dr. Alessandra Colon: that we’re gonna crack your neck and you’re gonna die from a stroke let’s than more than they were. Than that
L. Scott Ferguson: works crack or die. Right? So if your life had a theme song, what’s playing?
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Oh, it’d be something about Bad Bunny. Just anything.
Bad Bunny. Bad
L. Scott Ferguson: Bunny. Did you see him at Happy Gilmore too?
Dr. Alessandra Colon: No, I haven’t seen it yet. He plays
L. Scott Ferguson: Happy is Caddy. Listen it, it’s, it’s awesome. So. How does, and you can go a little bit longer on this one, but how does Dr. Alessandra want her dash remembered that little line in between your incarnation date, your expiration date, your life date, and your death date.
That little line.
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Mm-hmm. How does
L. Scott Ferguson: she want her dash remembered?
Dr. Alessandra Colon: I left this world a better place than I found it.
L. Scott Ferguson: I love that. I love it. So we got, you know, [00:26:00] I think that you’re gonna probably end up doing that pretty well. I hope so. You know, so the 10 year plan, like what are, where are we at?
Dr. Alessandra Colon: We’re about a year and a half in.
Okay. ’cause I restarted at like 39 guys. Right. I literally like, just decided to blow up my whole world after the show, which is fine. Um, but I started over again, so I got another 10 years in front of me.
L. Scott Ferguson: Yeah. So the next couple minutes, platform’s yours, can you tell everybody how to find yourself?
Dr. Alessandra Colon: Oh my gosh, absolutely.
You can find me@misschiropractic.com mc wellness and spa.com. Miss Chiropractic on ig, YouTube, TikTok, I’m there guys.
L. Scott Ferguson: And what’s the phone number to to reach there?
Dr. Alessandra Colon: 5 6 1 9 2 8 2 2 2 5 2
L. Scott Ferguson: 2 2 5. So that again, squad’s 5 6 1 9 2 8 2 2 2 5 5 6 1 9 2 8 2 2 2 5. And leave us with one last knowledge nugget that we can kind of take with us, internalize and take action
Dr. Alessandra Colon: on.
Mm. Give an abundance and remember that what you give it will be what [00:27:00] you get. So if you want love, give love. If you want money, give with, give with graciousness. I truly, truly believe that the energy you give comes back to you a
L. Scott Ferguson: hundred percent. That reciprocation will be exactly in common, measure it of whatever, of what you’re kind of getting.
And it’s like we don’t get what we want. We get what we earn. Right? And I love that you’re giving, you’re receiving because you’ve earned it. And squad, thank you so, so much for tuning in. I wanna thank Dr. Alessandra, her team, uh, Seville here, my team, she showed up today. Ms. Aubrey Christie from Aubrey’s Aerials.
